Celebrity?

We have a potential future celebrity in our family. Our young cousin, 10 year old Cooper Nelson, son of Charles and Heather Nelson, great great grandson of Adam and Rosalja Kaźmierczak, has an acting part in a new TV series pilot, Xteam. Cooper had already been doing modeling and auditioned for the part. Yesterday his parents were notified that he got the part. A pilot for a series is just a test episode shown to a group of people to see if it generates enough interest to make more episodes to put on TV.

I went to Ikea but the lace was packed with people and all parking lots were full. You would think it was just before Christmas there were so many people there. I didn't stay. I'll go back during a week day when the worker bees are at work.

Joan stayed home and started learning about using the past tense in Spanish. I found several good examples on the net and put them together to make it more understandable for her.

Mamy potencjalną przyszłą gwiazdę w naszej rodzinie. Nasz młody kuzyn, 10-letni Cooper Nelson, syn Charlesa i Heather Nelson, wielki prawnuk Adama i Rosalji Kaźmierczak, ma udział w nowym serialu telewizyjnym Xteam.

  1. Your little Nelson has the looks of a celeb-- certainly photogenic!
Hope this is his 'chance'... (let us know in future days). Can you
see yourself fighting off a crowd of fainting fans in front of your flat if he ever came to visit you in Poznan as a v-star? Get ready David and Joan :~[]!

  2. As I was catching up on your blog, I had just finished listening to
a podcast on Polecast (and am "catching up" there, with backstories.
You mentioned about Joan learning past-tense Spanish (and you mention
your passion for learning Polish and Spanish so many times throughout
your blogging-- it is SO much a part of your lives). So, when I came across this story a few minutes ago, I said to myself: gotta share this with David and Joan!

  3. GG, I can't even imagine 5 languages a year. Maybe, maybe at age 20 but definitely not 73.
