Joyful and sad.

A joyful and sad day today. Joyful because for years it was a birthday celebration day for both my son and my sister. Skype calls, phone calls, or just chats have only been possible since we have been in Poland. With the death of my son almost 4 years ago, those are no longer possible either. I can only speak to the winds of heaven with no reply.

It is also the day of burial for the father of cousin Krzysztof.

Dziś dzień radosny i smutny. Radosny, bo od lat był to dzień obchodów urodzin zarówno mojego syna, jak i mojej siostry. Rozmowy przez Skype, telefony, czy zwykłe pogawędki były możliwe tylko odkąd jesteśmy w Polsce. Wraz ze śmiercią mojego syna prawie 4 lata temu, te również nie są już możliwe. Mogę tylko mówić do wiatrów nieba bez odpowiedzi. Jest to również dzień pochówku ojca kuzyna Krzysztofa.
