New Year

Started the New Year off by sleeping in until 9AM, having breakfast and then watching a movie.  It was raining in the morning and a lot of snow disappeared but hoping the temperature will get lower and it will snow later.

So we're "offically" in the fourth year living in Poland and still happy with our decision.  Night before last we took a little drive around our neighborhood and saw more houses decorated with lights for Christmas and next year I think there will be more but you never know with the cost of electricty going up and the VAT has also risen this year. 

Last night we watched the celebrations in Wrocław and Warsaw on TV.  I think Wrocław was still better than the capitol, Warsaw, with better entertainers and people seemed more into the celebration.  Poznań has had it's celebration in Plac Wolnośći but not comparable to those two cities yet.  I received a lot of well wishes from cousins and readers of this blog and thanks for that.

Rozpoczęcie Nowego Roku się przez spanie w aż 9 rano, śniadanie i oglądania filmów. Padało w nocy i dużo śniegu zniknęły, ale nadzieję, że temperatura będzie się niższe i będzie śnieg później.

Tak więc jesteśmy "oficjalnie" w czwartym roku życia w Polska i nadal szczęśliwi z naszą decyzją. Noc przed ostatnim wzięliśmy trochę jazdy po naszej okolicy i widziałem więcej domów zdobią światła na Boże Narodzenie przyszłego roku i myślę, że będzie więcej, ale nigdy nie wiesz, ze koszt energii elektrycznej rośnie i VAT również wzrosła w tym roku.

Ubiegłej nocy obserwowaliśmy uroczystości we Wrocławiu i Warszawie w telewizji. Myślę, że Wrocław był jeszcze lepszy niż stolica, Warszawa, z lepszym artystów i ludzi wydawała się do tej uroczystości. Poznań była to uroczystość na Placu Wolności, ale nie porównywalne do tych dwóch miast jeszcze. I eceived wiele pozdrowienia od kuzynki i czytelnicy tego bloga i dzięki za to.
