Pipers!

We finished our Exchange conversations at 1PM and headed to the rynek to park our car and walk up Pojwieska street to Stary Browar to see the bagpipers.  They were just gathering so we went inside to use the bathroom but when we came back out they were already marching down the street so we had to catch up with them.  Of course, the music was easy to hear bouncing off the walls of the buildings on each side of the street.  It was a warm day and I'm sure those poor people were hot, dressed the way they were.  They continued marching and playing all the way to the rynek, gathered themselves together and made a grand entrance into the rynek with bagpipers playing loudly.  We never imagined we would see a large group of pipers in Poland.  Scotland or Ireland, yes, but not Poznań.  It was a pleasant experience.
