Beautiful day

Such a beautiful day today that I had to take Joan outside for a little cruise around Park Kolegacki. We were there a few years ago but not before the renovation. The change was a big one. It's not a tree park, more like a concrete park but it does make it much nicer for pedestrians. It's far enough from the Rynek that most tourists probably won't take the time to see it. There is a water fountain and several outdoor cafes. During the renovation, some of the original building foundations were uncovered and you can see them at the lower level viewing through glass plates. Of course, parking is a problem.

When we finished that we headed for the Petit Paris bistro but not for coffee. Nearby is a Disabled parking space that we used to take another cruise along the paved path that leads to Citadella Park. I had no plan to walk the whole distance there only using the path to be surrounded by trees and some nice colored weeds and flowers.

Since we were already parked by Petit Paris, we did take advantage of it and had coffee and cheesecake. Of all the places we have tried the cheesecake, I think Petit has the best and biggest piece. Coffee, like in the majority of cafes and restaurants is mediocre at best.

We came back in time for me to do the laundry, and make Honey, Mustard Chicken Pasta for dinner. When it was over, we watched BBC's Earth programs until bedtime.
