 Another stage of renovation in the center of Poznań is coming to an end. From Friday, drivers will enter the rebuilt street.

On Friday, May 19, the contractor will start dismantling the construction fence on Al. Marcinkowski at Plac Wolności. This means that drivers will be able to enter the road.

Although drivers will enter the road on Friday, permanent road markings will not be introduced until next week. - This means that after dismantling the roadway fencing, it will be possible to directly access ul. February 23 along the building of the National Museum. However, access to the property at Al. Marcinkowskiego 20, 21 and 22 and deliveries to Galeria MM will take place from ul. February 23. The rebuilt space will also be accessible to pedestrians and cyclists .

After the reconstruction, Marcinkowskiego Avenue has a new surface, new lighting, street furniture and greenery. - Before starting work on Al. Marcinkowski, the composition of the avenue of trees ended at the height of the Raczyński Library. As part of the investment, columnar oaks were planted, which create a new perspective on the building of the National Museum. Thanks to the investment along the entire section of Al. Marcinkowski from ul. St. Marcin, 36 columnar oaks were planted in the museum. In addition, on the islands in front of the building, hedges made of yew, a strong-growing shrub with dark green needles, appeared. The whole is complemented by seasonal flowerbeds on the island between the museum and Plac Wolności.-Source-epoznan.pl

Otwarty zostanie ostatni odcinek Al. Marcinkowskiego.

Właśnie w piątek, 19 maja, wykonawca prac zacznie demontować ogrodzenie budowlane na Al. Marcinkowskiego przy placu Wolności. To oznacza, że na ulicę będą mogli wjechać kierowcy.

Choć kierowcy wjadą na drogę już w piątek, dopiero w przyszłym tygodniu wprowadzane tu będzie stałe oznakowanie poziome. - To oznacza, że po demontażu wygrodzenia jezdni, będzie możliwy bezpośredni dojazd do ul. 23 Lutego wzdłuż budynku Muzeum Narodowego. Natomiast dojazd do posesji przy Al. Marcinkowskiego 20, 21 i 22 oraz dostawy do Galerii MM będą odbywały się od strony ul. 23 Lutego. Przebudowana przestrzeń będzie także dostępna dla pieszych i rowerzystów - podaje PIM.

Aleje Marcinkowskiego po przebudowie to nowa nawierzchnia, nowe oświetlenie, mała architektura, a także zieleń. - Przed rozpoczęciem prac na Al. Marcinkowskiego kompozycja alei drzew urywała się na wysokości Biblioteki Raczyńskich. W ramach inwestycji posadzone zostały dęby kolumnowe, które tworzą nową perspektywę widokową na gmach Muzeum Narodowego. Dzięki inwestycji na całym odcinku Al. Marcinkowskiego od ul. Św. Marcin do muzeum posadzono 36 dębów kolumnowych. Dodatkowo na wyspach przed budynkiem pojawiły się żywopłoty z cisu, czyli silnie rosnącego krzewu o ciemnozielonych igłach.
