 Life is back to "normal" now.

I wanted Joan to have the experience of the wireless headset I have now. Actually, not a headset but what is called "earbuds". It took her a little time to set them in place and then I turned on the album, No Absolute Time with Jean Luc Ponty, the French jazz violinist. The stereo separation is excellent. She closed her eyes and listened to the whole album. She loved it.

We really had a Spring day today. It was sunny all day with a high temperature of 20 C. I'm searching for someplace to visit within a 3-hour drive. It could be Berlin but I prefer to stay in Poland. I think we both need a break from our flat. Maybe a 4 or 5-day stay would be good enough. I thought first about the Besczady mountains to visit a friend of mine but it's too long of a drive, 9 hours.

The long weekend of Easter begins on this Good Friday. Like November 1st, the graves are being decorated with many flowers and candles. I like this tradition and hope it doesn't lessen with the future generations.

While the "Free" World celebrates Easter, it should not be forgotten what is happening to Ukraine. At the same time, the Republican leader of the U.S. House of Representatives, Mike Johnson, continues to hold up critical military aid to Ukraine. The promise to protect Ukraine in the Budapest Memoranda of Security Assurances, December 5, 1994. The three memoranda were originally signed by three nuclear powers: Russia, the United States, the United Kingdom China and France gave somewhat weaker individual assurances in separate documents.

The memoranda, signed in Patria Hall at the Budapest Convention Center with US Ambassador Donald M. Blinken amongst others in attendance, prohibited Russia, the United States and the United Kingdom from threatening or using military force or economic coercion against Ukraine, Belarus, and Kazakhstan, "except in self-defence or otherwise in accordance with the Charter of the United Nations." As a result of other agreements and the memorandum, between 1993 and 1996, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Ukraine gave up their nuclear weapons.

American history is replete with examples of political and personal betrayal.

Chciałem, aby Joan miała doświadczenie z bezprzewodowym zestawem słuchawkowym, który mam teraz. Właściwie to nie słuchawki, ale coś, co nazywa się "wkładkami dousznymi". Zajęło jej trochę czasu założenie ich na miejsce, a potem włączyłem album No Absolute Time z Jean Luc Ponty, francuskim skrzypkiem jazzowym. Separacja stereo jest doskonała. Zamknęła oczy i wysłuchała całego albumu. Bardzo jej się podobało.

Mieliśmy dziś naprawdę wiosenny dzień. Przez cały dzień było słonecznie, a temperatura sięgała 20 stopni C. Szukam miejsca, które mógłbym odwiedzić w promieniu 3 godzin jazdy samochodem. Może to być Berlin, ale wolę zostać w Polsce. Myślę, że oboje potrzebujemy przerwy od naszego mieszkania. Może 4- lub 5-dniowy pobyt byłby wystarczający. Najpierw myślałem o Beskidach, aby odwiedzić mojego przyjaciela, ale to zbyt długa droga, 9 godzin.

Długi weekend wielkanocny zaczyna się w Wielki Piątek. Podobnie jak 1 listopada, groby są udekorowane wieloma kwiatami i zniczami. Podoba mi się ta tradycja i mam nadzieję, że nie zaniknie wraz z przyszłymi pokoleniami.

Podczas gdy "wolny" świat świętuje Wielkanoc, nie należy zapominać o tym, co dzieje się na Ukrainie. W tym samym czasie republikański lider Izby Reprezentantów USA, Mike Johnson, nadal wstrzymuje krytyczną pomoc wojskową dla Ukrainy. Obietnica ochrony Ukrainy w Memorandach Budapesztańskich o Zapewnieniu Bezpieczeństwa, 5 grudnia 1994 roku.

Trzy memoranda zostały pierwotnie podpisane przez trzy mocarstwa nuklearne: Rosja, Stany Zjednoczone, Wielka Brytania, Chiny i Francja złożyły nieco słabsze indywidualne zapewnienia w oddzielnych dokumentach.

Memoranda, podpisane w Patria Hall w Budapest Convention Center z udziałem m.in. ambasadora USA Donalda M. Blinkena, zabraniały Rosji, Stanom Zjednoczonym i Wielkiej Brytanii grożenia lub użycia siły militarnej lub przymusu ekonomicznego przeciwko Ukrainie, Białorusi i Kazachstanowi, "z wyjątkiem samoobrony lub w inny sposób zgodnie z Kartą Narodów Zjednoczonych". W wyniku innych porozumień i memorandum, w latach 1993-1996 Białoruś, Kazachstan i Ukraina zrezygnowały z broni jądrowej.

Amerykańska historia pełna jest przykładów politycznej i osobistej zdrady.
