Lights & solutions?

 I was looking at our Christmas tree thinking how much better it is now with the LED lights I gu bought a few years ago. We have only 1 string of the old lights left on the tree. As I was thinking that,ess what happened? The old lights suddenly stopped working leaving the middle section of the tree unlit. 

I went to Carrefour and Castorama hoping that maybe they hadn't packed everything away already but they had. As a last-ditch effort, I went to Bricomarche to try my luck buying another LED string of lights. They still had some but the line they were on was white in color. I bought them but they don't look good because the white line was showing. I left them on but i won't not next year.

I talked with the IRS about the check and was advised to send it back with a letter describing what happened. I am not feeling secure about that but we don't seem to have any other solution. I'm concerned the whole thing will be lost. I'm not flying back to the U.S. just to deposit the check in our American account.

Patrzyłem na naszą choinkę, myśląc o tym, o ile lepiej wygląda teraz z lampkami LED, które kupiłem kilka lat temu. Na choince został tylko jeden sznur starych lampek. Kiedy tak myślałem, co się stało? Stare lampki nagle przestały działać, pozostawiając środkową część choinki bez oświetlenia. 

Poszedłem do Carrefoura i Castoramy z nadzieją, że może jeszcze wszystkiego nie spakowali, ale tak się stało. W ostateczności udałem się do Bricomarche, by spróbować szczęścia i kupić kolejny sznur lampek LED. Nadal mieli kilka, ale linia, na której się znajdowały, była w kolorze białym. Kupiłem je, ale nie wyglądają dobrze, ponieważ widać było białą linię. Zostawiłem je włączone, ale w przyszłym roku już tego nie zrobię.

Rozmawiałem z IRS o czeku i doradzono mi odesłanie go z listem opisującym, co się stało. Nie czuję się z tym bezpiecznie, ale wydaje się, że nie mamy innego rozwiązania. Obawiam się, że cała sprawa przepadnie. Nie polecę z powrotem do Stanów Zjednoczonych tylko po to, by zdeponować czek na naszym amerykańskim koncie.
