Night lights.

It's getting more and more atmospheric! All the lanterns around the Old Market Square slab are already lit after dark. They are standing along the sidewalks. They have yet to launch the lanterns in the second lighting line, as well as the illumination of buildings. Pictures on the right side thanks to *PIM(Poznanskie Inwestycje Miejskie).

When the Rynek is finished, it will be much easier for a wheelchair person like Joan to move around it. While the old cobblestones that were in place in the center were historical, the years have made them uneven and at times difficult to manage.  Now, with the large tiles evenly placed, it will be easy. I am looking forward to the time when I can take her there.

We have 17 years of history going there. Our favorite cafe, Room 55, was the place that attracted us the most. At that time, they made the best Cafe Mrzona(cold coffee with ice cream). Over the years, it went out of business and changed owners 4 times. 

Then, there was Dom Vikingow. In that place, the Poznan International Women's  Club met. Joan attended it and made a good friend in Jackie Natt from England. Her husband worked in a food specialty company and the 4 of us became friends. Eventually, they moved back to England and Joan stopped going. That restaurant has also changed owners several times.

Robi się coraz bardziej klimatycznie! Wszystkie latarnie wokół płyty Starego Rynku świecą już po zmroku. Stoją wzdłuż chodników. Przed nami jeszcze uruchomienie latarni w drugim rzędzie, a także iluminacja budynków. Zdjęcia po prawej stronie dzięki *PIM(Poznańskie Inwestycje Miejskie).

Kiedy Rynek zostanie ukończony, poruszanie się po nim będzie znacznie łatwiejsze dla osoby na wózku inwalidzkim, takiej jak Joan. Chociaż stary bruk, który znajdował się w centrum, był historyczny, lata sprawiły, że był nierówny i czasami trudny do opanowania.  Teraz, dzięki równo ułożonym dużym płytkom, będzie to łatwe. Z niecierpliwością czekam na moment, kiedy będę mógł ją tam zabrać.

Mamy za sobą 17 lat historii pobytu w Poznaniu. Nasza ulubiona kawiarnia, Room 55, była miejscem, które przyciągało nas najbardziej. W tamtym czasie robili tam najlepszą Cafe Mrożoną (zimną kawę z lodami). Z biegiem lat kawiarnia zbankrutowała i 4 razy zmieniała właścicieli. 

Potem był Dom Wikingów. W tym miejscu działał Poznański Klub Kobiet. Joan uczęszczała do niego i poznała dobrą przyjaciółkę Jackie Natt z Anglii. Jej mąż pracował w firmie specjalizującej się w żywności i nasza czwórka zaprzyjaźniła się. W końcu przenieśli się z powrotem do Anglii i Joan przestała tam chodzić. Ta restauracja również kilkakrotnie zmieniała właścicieli.
