Thanksgiving!

Today Joan and I gave thanks for our life together, our living in Poland, for our sons, daughters, relatives, friends and our good health. We bolth admitted that on days like today and Christmas we miss our children, some of the special things that occur on these days like watching the Charlie Brown Christmas, The Grinch Who Stole Christmas. American football but most of all our children.  Sometimes is difficult living so far away but it's a decision we made and we do not regret it.

The day started with Joan baking an apple pie for dessert with our dinner and then she took the chicken and got it ready for cooking.  Instead of the traditional American Thanksgiving dinner dishes we had chicken, mashed potatoes, corn, stuffing and gravy.  For dessert we had the apple pie with ice cream.

Dzisiaj Joan i dziękowałem za nasze życie, nasze życie w Polska, dla naszych synów, córki, krewnych, przyjaciół i dobrego zdrowia. Mamy bolth przyznał, że na dzień jak dziś i Boże Narodzenie tracimy nasze dzieci, niektóre z rzeczy, które występują szczególne w tych dniach jak oglądanie Charlie Brown Christmas, The Grinch Stole Christmas Kto. Futbol amerykański, ale przede wszystkim nasze dzieci. Czasami trudno jest życie tak daleko, ale jest to decyzja, które zrobiliśmy i nie żałuję.


Dzień rozpoczął się z Joan pieczenia szarlotki na deser z naszego obiadu, a następnie wzięła kurczaka, ale on gotowy do gotowania. Zamiast tradycyjnego dania kuchni amerykańskiej Dziękczynienia kolacji mieliśmy kurczaka, ziemniaki, kukurydza, farsz i sos. Na deser mieliśmy szarlotka z lodami.
