Nervous evening & Day of Truancy.

We had a nice, relaxing day for the most part until late in the evening when we watched our favorite team squeak by it's opponent by 2 points to go on to the next round. However, the repeated commercials on the internet were driving us up a wall with the repetitions.  Because it's a delayed recording of the game, evidently they have as much screen time for commercials as they do the game.  Even so, it was still nice to watch the game and we look forward to the next round on the weekend.

We finished the evening off watching "The Hurt Locker", a movie about a bomb squad working in Iraq and the danger those men go through to diffuse terrorist bombs.

Tomorrow it's back to the eye doctor to have my visual field of perception tested.  This time I can drive there since my eyes won't be dialated. It's also the national "Day of Truancy" day in schools. Truancy is any intentional unauthorized absence from compulsory schooling. The term typically describes absences caused by students of their own free will, and usually does not refer to legitimate "excused" absences, such as ones related to medical conditions.
