Goodbye church.

Slowly the view of the church is disappearing as they continue to erect new buildings in our settlement. They work everyday and it shouldn't be long before all we can see is the bell tower of the church.  However, the church, although it is finished on the outside is still not in use because of lack of money to complete the inside.

So our anniversary passed and we spent the evening at dinner in cousin Maciej and Wioletta's restaurant.  As usual the dinner was excellent, I had bruschetta and seafood spaghetti while Joan had bruschetta, ravioli, tiramisu and caffe latte.  Although the afternoon was sunny, by the time we were getting ready to go to dinner the sky had covered over with dark clouds and it started raining. It didn't last long so when we did arrive it was not necessary to have an umbrella.  Like I said, the dinner was excellent and the waiter was too.  We've seen him enough in the last two years that I finally asked him his name and we introduced ourselves to him. We think this is one of the best restaurants in Poznań if not THE best.  Not just because it's owned by my cousin but because the food is always good, the service is good, a nice view overlooking the main street in Poznań and Wioletta is always changing the decor of the place.  Maybe it is not so crowded because it is not located on the ground floor of the building but that is what we like about it also.

The last two week I have been working mainly on finally learning the different endings for cases in the Polish language.  It is not an easy task and so each conversation I have with different people on the Exchange we go over the genitive and accusative endings, use them in sentences I make up and I get their points of view on usage.  This is definitely something we should have concentrated on long ago but now it's the main thing.

Powoli widok na kościół zanika, jako że nadal wznoszenia nowych budynków w naszej osadzie. Pracują dzień i nie powinno być na długo przed wszystko, co możemy zobaczyć jest dzwonnica kościoła. Jednak Kościół, choć jest gotowy na zewnątrz nie jest jeszcze w użyciu z powodu braku pieniędzy, aby dokończyć w środku.

 Tak więc nasza rocznica przeszła, a my spędziliśmy wieczór na kolację w restauracji i kuzyn Maciej Wioletta jest. Jak zwykle kolacja była wyśmienita, miałam bruschetta i owoców morza, spaghetti, podczas gdy Joanna miała bruschetta, ravioli, tiramisu i caffe latte. Chociaż po południu było słonecznie, do czasu byliśmy coraz gotowe do kolacji niebo było zakryte ciemnymi chmurami i zaczął padać deszcz. Nie trwało długo, więc kiedy dotarł nie było konieczne, aby mieć parasol. Tak jak mówiłem, kolacja była doskonała, kelner też. Widzieliśmy go na tyle w ostatnich dwóch latach, że w końcu zapytał go o imię i wprowadziliśmy się do niego. Uważamy, że jest to jedna z najlepszych restauracji w Poznaniu, jeśli nie najlepszy. Nie tylko dlatego, że jego właścicielem jest mój kuzyn, ale dlatego, że jedzenie jest zawsze dobre, usługa jest dobra, ładny widok z widokiem na główną ulicę w Poznaniu i Wioletta jest zawsze zmienia wystrój tego miejsca. Może nie jest tak zatłoczone, ponieważ nie znajduje się na parterze budynku, ale to, co lubimy o tym również.

 W ostatnich dwóch tygodniu pracują głównie na końcu nauki różnych zakończeń w przypadkach, w języku polskim. Nie jest to łatwe zadanie, więc każda rozmowa mam z różnymi ludźmi na Giełdzie idziemy na końcówki dopełniacza i biernika, używać ich w zdaniach robię i mam swój punkt widzenia na temat wykorzystania. Jest to zdecydowanie coś, co powinniśmy koncentrują się na dawno temu, ale teraz jest najważniejsze.
