Exciting news for Joan and I. Our favorite Polish guitarist, 艁ukasz Kuropaczewski, will be hosting a series of classical guitar concerts around Pozna艅 during the month of August starting on our wedding anniversary, August 12th. We saw him perform twice last year and it's worth the drive to go to the other little cities he will be playing in as well as Pozna艅. He is an excellent guitarist and was trained at the Peabody School of Music in Baltimore, Maryland. Already he has given many concerts in different countries and we have no doubt his star is rising. Even though I haven't played guitar myself for many years, my love for the instrument has not diminished with time. Over the years Joan and I have listened to many classical guitarist including the Master, Andre Segovia (7 times), John Williams, Christopher Parkening, Oscar Ghilia, Julian Bream and Narcissco Yepes but 艁ukasz shows the most passion for what he does among them all. The mentioned guitarists were/are all on the highest level of performance and while 艁ukasz isn't quite there yet, he is certainly on his way. It will be a pleasure to see him perform again.
He is also showcasing other, younger guitarists during this festival so it's a chance to hear new people as well. We're excited.
Widzieli艣my go wykonywa膰 dwa razy w zesz艂ym roku i warto nap臋du, aby przej艣膰 do innych miasteczek b臋dzie on gra w, jak i Poznaniu. On jest 艣wietnym gitarzyst膮 i by艂 szkolony w Szkole Muzycznej w Peabody w Baltimore, Maryland. Wspomniane gitarzyst贸w by艂y / s膮 na najwy偶szym poziomie wydajno艣ci i podczas gdy 艁ukasz nie jest ca艂kiem tam jeszcze, jest on z pewno艣ci膮 na jego drodze. To b臋dzie przyjemno艣膰 zobaczy膰 go na scenie ponownie.
