SNL.........Saturday Night Live!

We arrived an hour early to get a decent seat but the church was already packed with people and the best we could do was the third row from the back.  Needless to say we could not see Łuskaz actually playing the guitar.  This time he was performing with Andrzej Bauer, a surperb violincellist from Łódz.

Andrzej is a soloist who has recorded music and given concerts with a number of ensembles inclucing the Philharmonic Orchestra of Warsaw, Naples, Strasburg and Munich.  He is also a Professor of Music at the Frederic Chopin University of Music in Warsaw and the Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz.

Along with them was also the Orchestra Kameralna Amadeus under the direction of Agnieska Duczmal.  It is one of the world's most renowned orchestras.

Although the performances were excellent it was again a little disappointing to not actually see Łukasz playing because he plays with so much emotion.

After it was over we decided to walk to the rynek and see how the "night life" was doing there and it was in full swing with many people in the square and all cafe's full of people, a definite contrast to what we usually see in the afternoons.  We had coffee and ice cream and then came back home.  It was a nice Saturday night.

Przyjechaliśmy o godzinę wcześniej, aby dostać przyzwoity miejsce, ale kościół był już pełen ludzi i najlepsze możemy zrobić, to w trzecim rzędzie od tyłu. Oczywiście nie mogliśmy zobaczyć Łuskaz faktycznie gra na gitarze. Tym razem był występując Andrzej Bauer, violincellist surperb z Łodzi.

Andrzej jest solistą, który nagrał muzykę i koncertował z wieloma zespołami inclucing Philharmonic Orchestra w Warszawie, Neapol, Strasburgu i Monachium. Jest także profesorem muzyki Fryderyka Chopina Akademii Muzycznej w Warszawie i Akademii Muzycznej w Bydgoszczy.

 Wraz z nimi był także Orkiestra Kameralna Amadeus pod dyrekcją Agnieszki Duczmal. Jest to jeden z orkiestrami świata najbardziej znanych.

 Mimo, że występy były doskonałe to znowu trochę rozczarowujące nie faktycznie zobaczyć Łukasz gra, bo gra ze wzruszenia tak bardzo.

 Po jej zakończeniu zdecydowaliśmy się dojść do Rynku i zobaczyć, jak "nocnego życia" tu robi i to pełną parą z wielu ludzi na placu i wszystkie kawiarnie pełne ludzi, określony przeciwieństwie do tego, co zazwyczaj zobaczyć w w godzinach popołudniowych. Mieliśmy kawę i lody, a następnie wrócił do domu. To był miły sobotni wieczór.
