Nice car.

In the underground parking the other day, just as we were approaching our car a beautiful old Mercedes convertible pulled in to park. I walked over to the man and asked if I could take some pictures of it and he was happy to oblige. I am not really into cars but this was a  rare exception. The owner had maintained it in excellent condition for years and we liked the color also.

It was another hot day, 35c(95F) and by the afternoon it was30c in our flat. We used the excuse of it being Wednesday to escape to the air-conditioned Sowa"s and spent an hour there cooling down before we returned home.

On the bright side of this heat wave, the goldenrod is in full yellow color now and can be seen everywhere you go. It's so beautiful!  In the Spring I wait for the appearance of the yellow dandelions, at the beginning of autumn, the goldenrod. Nature can be so beautiful and God has given us many gifts to behold. We should return the favor by taking care of this planet.

 Któregoś dnia, kiedy zbliżaliśmy się do naszego samochodu w podziemnym parkingu,  wjechał tam piękny stary mercedes kabriolet. Podszedłem do mężczyzny i zapytałam, czy mógłbym zrobić kilka zdjęć, a on był szczęśliwy, że mógł wyświadczyć taka przysługę. Nie pasjonuję się samochodami, ale to był rzadki wyjątek. Właściciel utrzymywał go w doskonałym stanie przez lata i podobał nam się jego kolor.

To był kolejny gorący dzień, 35C (95F), a po południu w naszym mieszkaniu było 30C. Użyliśmy pretekstu, że w środę bywamy u Sowy i uciekliśmy do klimatyzowanej kawiarni, gdziei spędziliśmy godzinę, by się ochłodzić, zanim wróciliśmy do domu.

Szukając pozytywów tej fali upałów, nawłoć kwitnie w  pełni na żółto i można ją zobaczyć wszędzie. To jest takie piękne! Na wiosnę czekam na pojawienie się żółtych mleczy, na początku jesieni na nawłoć. Natura może być tak piękna, a Bóg dał nam wiele prezentów do oglądania. Powinniśmy zwrócić ten przywilej opiekując się naszą planetą.
