Disaster spreads.

This environmental disaster that was reported this week on the Odra river appears to be spreading. The latest report is from Dabie, a community near the town of Koło where my great grandfather was born. So far, 1,500 fish have been taken out of the Ner River. The Ner is a river in central Poland approximately 134 km (83 mi) long, with sources to the south-east of the city of Łódź. It is one of the right tributaries of the Warta River, and the largest river in Łódź. The Warta is the river that runs through Poznań where we live.

The Catchment Board in Koło was chosen to protect the Warta River. Monitoring of the river was carried out. Two boats of the District Fire Department in Koło together with Polish Waters monitored the Warta River from Koło to the mouth of the Ner River today. To ensure that the dead fish do not end up in it, a levee has been placed at the mouth of the Ner River, behind the bridge in Rzuchów. Fish, therefore, do not flow into the Warta. 

Officially, the reason for the fish's death is not known. One might think that the animals died of natural causes, such as suffocation, in the current hot weather. However, there are indications that do not support this. In Środa, a very unpleasant odor had been smelled for a long time near the dam, in the vicinity of Lazienki Park, according to residents' reports. Also, disturbing was said to be the unusual color of the water near the bathing area itself, and even a brown deposit, visible to the naked eye just off the lake shore.

From Środa, the Welna is a river in west-central Poland, a right tributary of the Warta river, with a length of 118 kilometers. Its source is near Gniezno, and it flows into the Warta near Oborniki, just north of us. 

"The Oborniki district governor has issued an announcement on the matter. - "In connection with the occurrence of cases of dead fish in the Welna River, we ask residents not to water animals or fish, and avoid contact with dead fish until the cause is clarified (about 1 week) in the aforementioned river. We will inform you about the results of the tests of the secured samples in a separate announcement, Zofia Kotecka said",

Water samples from the river were taken on Monday. Dead fish have appeared in the river in the Rogozno area, among other places. Ta katastrofa ekologiczna nad Odrą, o której donoszono w tym tygodniu, wydaje się rozprzestrzeniać. Najnowsze zgłoszenie pochodzi z Dąbia, gminy w pobliżu miasta Koło, gdzie urodził się mój pradziadek. Do tej pory z rzeki Ner wyłowiono 1500 ryb. Ner to rzeka w centralnej Polsce o długości około 134 km (83 mil), mająca źródła na południowy wschód od miasta Łodzi. Jest jednym z prawych dopływów Warty i największą rzeką Łodzi. Warta jest rzeką, która przepływa przez Poznań, w którym mieszkamy.

Zarząd Zlewni w Kole został wybrany do ochrony Warty. Prowadzony był monitoring rzeki. Dwie łodzie Powiatowej Straży Pożarnej w Kole wraz z Wodami Polskimi monitorowały dziś rzekę Wartę od Koła do ujścia do Neru. Aby martwe ryby nie trafiały do niej, przy ujściu Neru, za mostem w Rzuchowie, ustawiono groblę. Ryby, w związku z tym, nie wpływają do Warty. 

Oficjalnie nie jest znana przyczyna śnięcia ryb. Można by sądzić, że zwierzęta zginęły z przyczyn naturalnych, np. uduszenia się, przy panujących obecnie upałach. Są jednak przesłanki, które tego nie potwierdzają. W Środzie, według relacji mieszkańców, w pobliżu zapory, w okolicach Łazienek, od dłuższego czasu wyczuwalny był bardzo nieprzyjemny zapach. Niepokojący był też ponoć nietypowy kolor wody przy samym kąpielisku, a nawet brązowy osad, widoczny gołym okiem tuż przy brzegu jeziora.

" Starosta Obornicki wydał komunikat w tej sprawie. - "W związku z wystąpieniem przypadków martwych ryb w rzece Welna, prosimy mieszkańców o niepojenie zwierząt i łowienie ryb oraz unikanie kontaktu z martwymi rybami do czasu wyjaśnienia przyczyny (około 1 tygodnia) w w/w rzece. O wynikach badań zabezpieczonych próbek poinformujemy Państwa w osobnym komunikacie - powiedziała Zofia Kotecka",

Próbki wody z rzeki zostały pobrane w poniedziałek. Martwe ryby pojawiły się w rzece między innymi w okolicach Rogoźna. Mieszkańcy z niepokojem czekają na wyniki badań, choć pojawiają się też opinie, że ryby mogły paść ofiarą wysokich temperatur i niskiego poziomu wody w rzece.-Źródło-epoznań.pl

Este desastre medioambiental del que se informó esta semana en el río Odra parece estar extendiéndose. El último informe procede de Dabie, una comunidad cercana a la ciudad de Koło, donde nació mi bisabuelo. Hasta ahora, se han extraído 1.500 peces del río Ner. El Ner es un río del centro de Polonia de unos 134 km de longitud, que nace al sureste de la ciudad de Łódź. Es uno de los afluentes derechos del río Warta, y el mayor río de Łódź. El Warta es el río que atraviesa Poznań, donde vivimos.

La Junta de Cuenca de Koło fue elegida para proteger el río Warta. Se llevó a cabo la supervisión del río. Dos barcos del Cuerpo de Bomberos del Distrito de Koło junto con Aguas Polacas vigilaron el río Warta desde Koło hasta la desembocadura del río Ner en la actualidad. Para garantizar que los peces muertos no acaben en él, se ha colocado un dique en la desembocadura del río Ner, detrás del puente de Rzuchów. Los peces, por tanto, no desembocan en el Warta.

"El gobernador del distrito de Oborniki ha emitido un comunicado al respecto. - "En relación con la aparición de casos de peces muertos en el río Welna, pedimos a los residentes que no den de beber a los animales ni a los peces, y que eviten el contacto con los peces muertos hasta que se aclare la causa (aproximadamente una semana) en el citado río. Les informaremos de los resultados de los análisis de las muestras aseguradas en un comunicado aparte, dijo Zofia Kotecka",

Las muestras de agua del río se tomaron el lunes. Han aparecido peces muertos en el río en la zona de Rogozno, entre otros lugares. Los residentes esperan ansiosos los resultados, aunque también hay opiniones de que los peces pueden haber sido víctimas de las altas temperaturas y el bajo nivel de agua en el río.-Fuente-epoznań.pl
