Woodstock

53 years ago a music concert was held that is still talked about today. The most famous festival of all time, Woodstock was attended by some 400,000 people. Some of history’s greatest artists were present (Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, The Band, The Who, Crosby Stills Nash and Young, Joni Mitchell, Ritchie Havens, and many more). There have been several reincarnations of the festival over the years, but none captured the same magic.

I had a new baby boy and could not go. Joan was taking care of her two very young children and couldn't go either, That was the generation we belonged to and under different circumstances, we would have been there also.

Przez lata było kilka reinkarnacji festiwalu, ale żadna nie uchwyciła tej samej magii.

Miałam nowego synka i nie mogłam pojechać. Joan zajmowała się dwójką swoich bardzo małych dzieci i też nie mogła pojechać. To było pokolenie, do którego należeliśmy i w innych okolicznościach też byśmy tam byli.

Yo tenía un bebé recién nacido y no podía ir. Joan estaba cuidando a sus dos hijos muy pequeños y tampoco pudo ir. Esa era la generación a la que pertenecíamos y, en otras circunstancias, también habríamos estado allí.
