Stobnica controversy.

On the outskirts of the Notecka Forest, about 1 hour northwest of our flat, there is a unique building. With its towers and bastions, it dominates the forest and the reservoir. Although there are rumors that it is located on an island, the Stobnica Castle is actually an island itself.

The castle in Stobnica is over 70 meters high and about 200 meters long. The building has 15 floors, and the height of each of them is equal to two standard floors in a typical residential building.

This extraordinary building and the area around it are the result of the work of a group of people fascinated by castle architecture, who created a residential building with such unusual architecture today. The entire body of water surrounding the Castle was also created, with a natural coastline and numerous islands.

Thanks to the kindness of the investors of the Stobnica Castle, you can visit its surroundings and learn many interesting facts about the building itself and the surrounding fauna and flora. The Forest Educational Trail in Stobnica includes a picturesque trail through the forest, the waterfront, and the castle grounds.

From the pictures, it looks like the paths are covered with level boards which should make it easier for me to push Joan. Twalk around the grounds takes 1 1/2 hours so I think we could do that. Maybe I will even take lunch with us.

What you just read was from the website, Stobnica-Ścieźka Edukaczyna. It is obviously all promotional in its content. However, there were and still are many people who were opposed to the building of this "castle".  You can read their comments as to why on Facebook at Ciekawa Wielkopolska-Marcin Walkowiak. He recently made the walk around the building and took excellent photographs. A few example comments; "Even though Marcin Walkowiak's photos were excellent, it still makes you want to puke just from looking at this circus. Pity the biodiversity lost irretrievably".  "Scandal!!! Will someone finally answer for the devastation of nature and destruction of water and forest". "And such activities are legal? I remember the wolves in Stobnica, I was there more than 20 years ago! What came to pass: a toll path through the cleared forest, overlooking the castle? Unbelievable!".

Na obrzeżach Puszczy Noteckiej, około 1 godziny drogi na północny zachód od naszego mieszkania, znajduje się wyjątkowa budowla. Ze swoimi wieżami i bastionami dominuje nad lasem i zbiornikiem wodnym. Chociaż krążą pogłoski, że znajduje się na wyspie, zamek w Stobnicy sam jest wyspą. 

Zamek w Stobnicy ma ponad 70 metrów wysokości i około 200 metrów długości. Budynek ma 15 pięter, a wysokość każdego z nich jest równa dwóm standardowym piętrom w typowym budynku mieszkalnym.

Ten niezwykły budynek i teren wokół niego to efekt pracy grupy ludzi zafascynowanych architekturą zamkową, którzy stworzyli budynek mieszkalny o tak niezwykłej dziś architekturze. Powstał również cały akwen wodny otaczający Zamek, z naturalną linią brzegową i licznymi wyspami.

Dzięki uprzejmości inwestorów Zamku w Stobnicy można zwiedzić jego otoczenie i dowiedzieć się wielu ciekawych faktów na temat samej budowli oraz otaczającej ją fauny i flory. Leśna Ścieżka Edukacyjna w Stobnicy obejmuje malowniczy szlak prowadzący przez las, nabrzeże i teren zamku.To, co właśnie przeczytałeś, pochodzi ze strony internetowej Stobnica-Ścieźka Edukacyjna. Ma ona oczywiście charakter promocyjny. Jednak było i jest wiele osób, które były przeciwne budowie tego "zamku".  

Ich komentarze dlaczego można przeczytać na Facebooku Ciekawa Wielkopolska - Marcin Walkowiak. Niedawno odbył on spacer wokół budynku i zrobił świetne zdjęcia. Kilka przykładowych komentarzy: "Mimo, że zdjęcia Marcina Walkowiaka były świetne, to i tak rzygać się chce od samego patrzenia na ten cyrk. Szkoda bezpowrotnie utraconej bioróżnorodności".  "Skandal!!! Czy ktoś w końcu odpowie za dewastację przyrody i niszczenie wód i lasów". "I takie działania są legalne? Pamiętam wilki w Stobnicy, byłem tam ponad 20 lat temu! Do czego doszło: płatna ścieżka przez wycięty las, z widokiem na zamek? Niewiarygodne!".
