Morasko

We took a little ride north of where we live to Morasko, a small village just past Suchy Las. There were two churches there, one was the old brick church no longer used, with broken glass, boarded up door but some of the stained glass was still in the windows on the opposite side. Just around the corner was the newer church standing next to a large building that was also unused any longer. Between 1783 and 1786 Year it was built for Ignacy Korwin-Bienkowski. This manor house is a late-baroque style with Classical elements.

To get to Morasko you had to drive through a little forested area, very much like the forest roads in Upper Michigan. The village itself was incorporated into the boundaries of Poznań in 1987 so that's why we found one of the Poznań elephants sitting in a play area. The village itself dates back to 1388. Many times these old abandoned places are just as interesting as the ones that have survived time.

Wzięliśmy trochę jazdy na północ od miejsca w którym żyjemy na Morasko, małej miejscowości Suchy Las tylko przeszłości. Były tam dwa kościoły, jeden stary murowany kościół nie jest już wykorzystywana, z rozbitego szkła, zabite deskami drzwi, ale niektóre witraże wciąż okna po przeciwnej stronie. Tuż za rogiem był nowszy kościół stojący obok dużego budynku, który jest także niewykorzystane dłużej. W latach 1783 i 1786 roku został zbudowany dla Ignacego Korwin Bieńkowskiego. Ten dworek jest późnobarokowy styl z klasycznych elementów.

Aby dostać się do Morasko trzeba było jechać przez mały obszar zalesiony, bardzo podobnie jak dróg leśnych w Górnym Michigan. Sama wioska została włączona w granice Poznania w 1987 roku tak dlatego znaleźliśmy jeden z Poznania słonie siedzą w plac zabaw. Samej wsi pochodzi z 1388. Wiele razy te stare opuszczone miejsca są równie interesujące, jak te, które przetrwały czas
