We went specifically today to take some pictures of the swollen Warta river in Pozna艅. We weren't the only ones there. Traffic was backed up on the bridge by the cathedral and people were everywhere taking pictures. It's really incredible how much this river has overflowed it's banks in the last week. For those of you who don't know, usually there is a small river, maybe fifty feet across with concete embankments on both side where people can walk next to them. now the river has engulfed those embankments and stretched out all the way to the new apartment complexes built in the last few years on the Warta.
I took pictures from the bridge over the Warta and the new bridge behind the cathedral to show the spread of the river.
