Tuesday feels like Monday.

Trying to get a good grasp of the differences between imperfective and perfective verbs in Polish is not an easy concept to absorb. I've been asking all of my Skype correspondents about it but most have no clue or very little.  Guess it's just a matter of using one or the other, making mistakes and then learning from them. Why can't I just plug a Polish language chip into my neck like in the movie Matrix.  It would be so much easier and quicker.

I learned today that starting next year there will be a tax credit for people using the internet in their homes in order to boost the amount of usage.  Good idea!

Also learned that some friends of ours from the "old days" in the U.P will drive down to Chicago so they can visit with us during the second half of our trip.  That's nice. They would definitely fit into the classification of przyjaciele in Polish. They sent a picture of themselves taken in the same place they took a picture of Joan and I some 25 years earlier.
 Mary and Mike.
Dave and Joan

Byłoby o wiele łatwiej i szybciej.

To miłe.

  1. Admire your tenacity to learn such a difficult language.

Btw- kolezanka is more of a female associate (or a school buddy) - Mary and Mike are your friends - przyjaciele :-)
