Gone too soon....

                   Mike Davis 1947-2017
 

I suppose the saddest time for someone close to you, loved by you. to leave because of death is at this time of year, Christmas. That just happened when our friend, Mike Davis, passed away yesterday due to that vile disease, Cancer. He fought it as hard as he could for the last 1 1/2 years but in the end he lost. Unlike the majority of people, Mike lived the life he wanted, in an environment he loved, the U.P. of Michigan.

 

We spent 2 weeks with him and his partner, Mary, in Croatia a few years go. That was the last time we saw them although I was in touch through email or FB.

 

I grieve for the loss of our friend. 

 

Przypuszczam najsmutniejszy czas dla kogoś bliskiego, kochanego przez ciebie. odejść z powodu śmierci jest o tej porze roku. Boże Narodzenie. Tak się właśnie stało, kiedy nasz przyjaciel, Mike Davis, zmarł wczoraj z powodu tej podłej choroby, raka. Walczył tak ciężko, jak tylko mógł przez ostatnie 1 1/2, ale w końcu przegrał. W przeciwieństwie do większości ludzi Mike żył życiem, którego pragnął, w otoczeniu, które kochał, U.P. z Michigan.


Spędziliśmy z nim i jego partnerem Marią 2 tygodnie w Chorwacji kilka lat. To był ostatni raz, kiedy ich widzieliśmy, chociaż byłem w kontakcie przez e-mail lub FB.
