How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

The Grinch is stealing Christmas again! Now "Orange Head" wants to take waiters/ waitresses tips away from them, put them in a bowl and then let the owner of the restaurant decide what to do with the money. He may divide the money among all the waiters/waitresses or if he wants he may even keep the money for renovations. Either way, the waiter/waitress who earned the tip has no control over it. It's like the Grinch taking the smallest crumb away from the mouse in Whoville. When will this madness stop?

Nothing new here, just a miserable day so we brightened our day by going to Sowa's. They have a new cake, Torte Miodownik that is very good. It's a creme cake with honey and walnuts on top.  It's usually a Christmas time cake. We like it. Joan had Torte Pralinowy. It's like "Death by Chocolate" at Bennigan's restaurant in the Chicago area.

Grinch znów kradnie Boże Narodzenie! Teraz "Pomarańczowa Głowa" chce odebrać kelnerom / kelnerkom napiwki, umieścić je w pojemniku, a następnie pozwolić właścicielowi restauracji zdecydować, co zrobić z pieniędzmi. On może podzielić pieniądze pomiędzy wszystkich kelnerów / kelnerki, a jeśli chce, może nawet zatrzymać pieniądze na remonty. Tak czy inaczej, kelner / kelnerka, którzy zasłużyli  na napiwek, nie mają nad tym kontroli. To tak, jak Grinch odbiera najmniejszy okruch myszce  w Whoville. Kiedy skończy się to szaleństwo?

Tutaj nic nowego, tylko ponury dzień, więc rozjaśniłyśmy go  odwiedzając Sowę. Mają nowe ciasto, Miodownik, które jest bardzo dobre. To kremowe ciasto z miodem i orzechami włoskimi na wierzchu. Lubimy je. Joan miała tort Pralinowy, który jest podobny do  "Death by Chocolate" w restauracji Bennigana w Chicago.
