I have them!!!

A day before the "official" beginning of Autumn but it has already begun here several days ago. The various shades of brown, red, orange and yellow have appeared already and will only increase in the days coming. I like Autumn for it's changing of the colors. In Michigan where we live they were spectacular, here not quite so dramatic but still pretty.

I received news today the last documents have arrived in Poznań post office and should be delivered in the next few days. It has been a long. Just now.................they have been delivered. The collection of the required documents, my and Joan's birth certificates, our marriage license, her marriage license to her first husband, all with apostille letters, took 5 months though the mail. All these documents were needed just to register my birth in the Polish Civil Registry BEFORE I could apply for Polish citizenship. Now it's time to return to that office and see if this is enough.

We went to Piotr & Paweł to buy ground meat for hamburgers, lunch meat and bread and I was able to make the lady in the meat department smile by having her teach me how to say, "Please, grind 1/2 kilo of wołowina".
