Day 2

Carmelo arrived at 11:30 to take me to get the rental car. It was located in a village near the new airport in Corvera. It was not in a very conspicuous location and he had to stop someone on the street to find out where the car rental place was. However, we finally found it, got the car, I set my traveling GPS to the hospital location and got there just in time for the 13:00(1 PM) visit.

Joan was sleeping so I woke her up as they brought lunch for her. With my assistance, she was able to eat pears, bread, tomatoes, some chicken and pudding. She is still having problems with her eyes always looking to the right but her arm, hand, and leg are stronger.

The neurologist came by and said she still has a small lesion that they are unable to see from the images from Categna so Thursday they will do a new scan in this hospital. When they have that result they will know more about how to treat the problem.

At the 20:00(8 PM) visit, I noticed that she was eating more, with assistance, and twice her eyes moved all the way to the left to look at the food tray. That was the first time that happened so that was good. Naturally, she has no energy at all and I don't know when she will be able to actually stand up again.

Nie była w bardzo widocznym miejscu i Carmelo musiał zatrzymać kogoś na ulicy, aby dowiedzieć się, gdzie znajduje się wypożyczalnia samochodów. W końcu ja znaleźliśmy, dostaliśmy samochód, ustawiłem mój podróżny GPS, by zlokalizować szpital i dotarłem tam punktualnie na czas wizyty o 13:00(1pm).

Joan spała, więc obudziłem ją, gdy przynosili dla niej lunch. Z moją pomocą mogła zjeść gruszki, chleb, pomidory, trochę kurczaka i pudding. Wciąż ma problemy z oczami, które zawsze patrzą w prawo, ale jej ramię, ręka i noga są silniejsze.

Przyszedł neurolog i powiedział, że nadal ma małą lezję, której nie mogą zobaczyć na zdjęciach z Categny, więc w czwartek zrobią nowy skan w tym szpitalu. Kiedy będą mieli wynik, będą wiedzieli więcej, jak zająć się tym problemem.

Podczas wizyty o 20:00(8pm) zauważyłem, że z asystą je więcej, a dwa razy jej oczy przesunęły się w lewo, aby spojrzeć na tacę z jedzeniem. To był pierwszy raz, kiedy to się stało, więc to dobra oznaka. Oczywiście, nie ma żadnej energii i nie wiem, kiedy będzie mogła ponownie wstać.
