What day is it?

Another beautiful day outside. I would so like to carry Joan down the stairs, put her in the wheelchair, and go for a walk. Of course, with the ban in place, it is not possible. The problem would also be carrying her back upstairs.

Tonight, thanks to our neighbor, we had pierogi, barszcz soup, vegetable salad, and ciasto. Tomorrow they will also bring us dinner.

Now, in the evening, we are watching the Netflix series, Anne with an E. No violence and it takes my mind off everything.

I've been keeping track of Corona cases in the U.S. and Poland. From different articles I have read or listened to, I don't believe the figures are correct. That is NOT to say I don't believe it isn't a real crisis. In the last 2 months, I've been in 5 different hospitals and observed it IS real. I just don't believe the reporting agencies take everything into account when they pronounce someone dead due to Covid-19.

Dziś wieczorem, dzięki sąsiadce, mieliśmy pierogi, barszcz, sałatkę jarzynową i ciasto. Jutro też nam przyniosą obiad.

Teraz wieczorem oglądamy serial Netflix, Ania z E. Nie ma przemocy i film odwraca moją uwagę.

Śledzę sprawy koronawirusa w USA i w Polsce.

  3. Your stamina is amazing, Joan is indeed blessed to have you. Glad to hear she is making progress (albeit slowly, as to be expected).

Where was the picture of the waterfalls on the top of the blog today taken?

    Regards,
    Dave S and Ania

  4. Dave S, and Ania,
The picture was taken in Plitwicie National Park in Croatia. It is an incredible place where 5 lakes, at different levels, empty down into the lake below creating many waterfalls. Check out YouTube to see more about it. We spent 3 days of a 2-week adventure in Croatia about5years ago.

I thought that waterfall picture looked familiar. On Saturday I watched a Rick Steves’s show on Croatia and he was at that park. Beautiful place.

Even though I don’t leave a comment on your blog every day, I do read it each morning and you and Joan are in my thoughts and prayers. You are doing a wonderful job as caregiver and it sounds like she is making progress little by little. Keep up the good work both of you.
