Thanks to OPEC, gas prices are on the rise again. My gas gauge in the car showed the tank was half empty so I thought I would fill it up because tomorrow the prices will be even higher. Now it is 6.83 PLN per liter, not a gallon. After I was done, the gauge did not move.  Something was wrong but I didn't know what. I went back to the same gas pump I was at before to see if gas really went into the tank and it did. The conclusion was I think the float in the tank is not functioning so I have an appointment at the repair shop to see if they can fix it. I can't drive my car not knowing for sure how much gas is in it.

Meanwhile, since the blowing up of the bridge connecting Russia with Crimea, Putin had 84 missiles launched at major cities in Ukraine.

KYIV, Oct 11 (Reuters) - President Volodymyr Zelensky was asking the leaders of the G7 group of nations to urgently supply Ukraine with air defense weapons on Tuesday after Russia rained down cruise missiles on cities across the country in a new escalation of the war.

More missile strikes killed at least one person in the southeastern town of Zaporizhzhia and left part of the Western city of Lviv without power, local officials said. Air raid sirens earlier wailed across Ukraine for a second day.

Other parts of the country remained blacked out after the cruise missile attacks on Monday which officials said killed 19 people in the biggest air raids since the start of the conflict.

Russian President Vladimir Putin, under domestic pressure to ramp up the seven-month-old war as his forces have lost ground since early September, said he ordered the strikes as revenge for an explosion that damaged Russia's bridge to annexed Crimea.

Teraz jest 6,83 zł za litr, a nie za galon. Po zatankowaniu, wskaźnik się nie ruszył.  Coś było nie tak, ale nie wiedziałem co. Wróciłem do tej samej stacji paliw, przy której byłem wcześniej, żeby sprawdzić, czy gaz rzeczywiście trafił do zbiornika i tak bylo. Wniosek był taki, że chyba pływak w zbiorniku nie działa, więc umówiłem się na wizytę w warsztacie, żeby zobaczyć, czy mogą to naprawić. Nie mogę jeździć moim samochodem nie wiedząc na pewno ile jest w nim gazu.

Tymczasem od czasu wysadzenia mostu łączącego Rosję z Krymem, Putin wystrzelił 84 rakiety na główne miasta Ukrainy.

KIJÓW, 11 października (Reuters) - Prezydent Wołodymyr Żeleński prosił przywódców grupy narodów G7 o pilne dostarczenie Ukrainie broni do obrony powietrznej po tym, jak we wtorek Rosja wystrzeliła pociski na miasta w całym kraju tym samym eskalując wojnę.

Uderzenia rakietowe zabiły co najmniej jedną osobę w południowo-wschodnim mieście Zaporoża i pozostawiło część zachodniego Lwowa bez zasilania, powiedzieli lokalni urzędnicy. Wcześniej, syreny przeciwlotnicze wyły w całej Ukrainie 

Inne części kraju pozostały zaciemnione po atakach rakietowych w poniedziałek, które według urzędników zabiły 19 osób w największych nalotach od początku konfliktu.

Rosyjski prezydent Władimir Putin, pod presją wewnętrzną, aby zwiększyć siedmiomiesięczną wojnę, ponieważ jego siły straciły grunt pod nogami od początku września, powiedział, że nakazał uderzenia jako zemstę za eksplozję, która uszkodziła rosyjski most do anektowanego Krymu.

El indicador de gasolina del coche indicaba que el depósito estaba medio vacío, así que pensé en llenar el depósito porque mañana los precios serán aún más altos. Ahora cuesta 6,83 libras por litro, no por galón. Después de repostar, el indicador no se movió.  Algo estaba mal, pero no sabía qué. Volví a la misma gasolinera en la que había estado antes para comprobar que la gasolina había entrado realmente en el depósito y así fue. La conclusión fue que creo que el flotador del depósito no funcionaba, así que pedí cita en el taller para ver si podían arreglarlo. No puedo conducir mi coche sin saber con seguridad la cantidad de gasolina que lleva.

Mientras tanto, desde la voladura del puente que une a Rusia con Crimea, Putin ha disparado 84 misiles contra las principales ciudades de Ucrania.

KYIV, 11 de octubre (Reuters) - El presidente Volodymyr Zheleznyi ha pedido a los líderes del grupo de naciones del G7 que proporcionen urgentemente a Ucrania armas de defensa antiaérea después de que Rusia disparara el martes misiles contra ciudades de todo el país, intensificando así la guerra.

Los ataques con misiles mataron al menos a una persona en la ciudad de Zaporizhia, en el sureste del país, y dejaron sin electricidad a algunas zonas del oeste de Lviv, según informaron las autoridades locales. Antes, las sirenas antiaéreas aullaban en toda Ucrania 

Otras partes del país permanecieron sin luz después de los ataques con cohetes del lunes que, según las autoridades, mataron a 19 personas en los mayores ataques aéreos desde que comenzó el conflicto.
