Missed appointments.

Usually, I'm in the habit of writing down appointments on a calendar so I don't miss them. Lately, I seem to forget to check the calendar or check it in the morning and then get involved with one of my duties as the "houseman" and forget the time.

That happened today when the phone rang and LeGrand salon was calling to inform me I had just missed our 16:00(4 PM) haircut appointment. I apologized and made a new one for tomorrow at 11:00.

In the past, you couldn't walk, drive or run through. the International Fairgrounds in Poznan. However, that has changed thanks to a project called the "Green  River" crossing shortcut. The shortcut runs between ul. Glogowska and ul. Sniadeckich. It is open seven days a week except for a few exceptions.

A small garden called a "pocket garden" in one of the squares and flower beds in another. There are plans for future plantings also.

This project allows people living in the area or guests to use the space that is surrounded by greenery. It can be a meeting place, a place for spending free time, or entertainment or cultural events. It is a good idea.

Zwykle mam zwyczaj zapisywania spotkań w kalendarzu, aby ich nie przegapić. Ostatnio jednak zapominam o sprawdzeniu kalendarza lub sprawdzam go rano, a następnie angażuję się w jeden z moich obowiązków jako "gospodarz domu" i zapominam o godzinie. Tak stało się dzisiaj, kiedy zadzwonił telefon i salon LeGrand, aby poinformować mnie, że właśnie przegapiłem wizytę u fryzjera o 16:00 (4 po południu). Przeprosiłam i umówiłam się na jutro na 11:00. W przeszłości nie można było chodzić, jeździć ani biegać po terenie Międzynarodowych Targów Poznańskich. Zmieniło się to jednak dzięki projektowi skrótu przez "Zieloną Rzekę". Skrót przebiega pomiędzy ul. Głogowską a ul. Śniadeckich. Poza kilkoma wyjątkami jest otwarty siedem dni w tygodniu. Na jednym ze skwerów znajduje się niewielki ogród zwany "kieszonkowym", a na drugim rabaty kwiatowe. W przyszłości planowane są kolejne nasadzenia. Projekt ten umożliwia mieszkańcom okolicy lub gościom korzystanie z przestrzeni otoczonej zielenią. Może to być miejsce spotkań, spędzania wolnego czasu, rozrywki czy wydarzeń kulturalnych. To dobry pomysł.
