D versus D

There are numerous reminders of certain events in America's history. For example, Pearl Harbor, D-Day, the assassination of JFK, and now, 9/11. I think this November 4th is going to be another one. It will be the day when Americans choose Democracy or a demagogue to be President of the United States. The choice is not about Biden or Trump. It is about saving the nation's principles created by the Founding Fathers. It's about honoring the ultimate sacrifice thousands of men and women made in the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and Iraq and Afghanistan. They died so that America would continue to exist.

Now, the nation is divided as it was once before, It is no longer the "United" States. As Americans, we were given only two candidates to choose between. One is an 81-year-old man with failing health and the other is a 78-year-old man, convicted in a court of his peers as a felon.. Neither one is a suitable candidate for the Presidency. One is held in high esteem by allies and the other laughed and joked about. How we allowed this to happen is unbelievable.

Both of them should have stepped back long before this decision began to form. We need a younger President who will uphold the Constitution written many years ago. I'm confident that none of the Founding Fathers would be happy with the decision we will have to make on November 4th.

Of course, that decision has been made already by citizens on both sides of the wall we now have. Trump was right when he said, "I would build a great wall, and nobody builds walls better than me, believe me, and I’ll build them very inexpensively. I will build a great great wall."

The problem is that he built the wall between Democracy and Demagoguery. Half of the voting nation can't see beyond the wall.

Istnieje wiele przypomnień o pewnych wydarzeniach w historii Ameryki. Na przykład Pearl Harbor, D-Day, zabójstwo JFK, a teraz 9/11. Myślę, że 4 listopada będzie kolejnym z nich. Będzie to dzień, w którym Amerykanie wybiorą Demokrację lub demagoga na prezydenta Stanów Zjednoczonych. Wybór nie dotyczy Bidena czy Trumpa. Chodzi o ocalenie zasad narodu stworzonych przez Ojców Założycieli. Chodzi o uhonorowanie ostatecznego poświęcenia tysięcy mężczyzn i kobiet w wojnie rewolucyjnej, wojnie secesyjnej, wojnie koreańskiej, wojnie w Wietnamie oraz w Iraku i Afganistanie. Zginęli, aby utrzymać Amerykę w istnieniu.

Teraz naród jest podzielony tak jak kiedyś, to już nie są Stany Zjednoczone. Jako Amerykanie mieliśmy do wyboru tylko dwóch kandydatów. Jeden z nich to 81-letni mężczyzna o słabym zdrowiu, a drugi to 78-letni mężczyzna, skazany przez sąd równych sobie jako przestępca. Żaden z nich nie jest odpowiednim kandydatem na prezydenta. Jeden jest wysoko ceniony przez sojuszników, a z drugiego się śmieją i żartują. To niewiarygodne, jak do tego dopuściliśmy.

Obaj powinni byli wycofać się na długo przed podjęciem tej decyzji. Potrzebujemy młodszego prezydenta, który będzie stał na straży konstytucji napisanej wiele lat temu. Jestem przekonany, że żaden z Ojców Założycieli nie byłby zadowolony z decyzji, którą będziemy musieli podjąć 4 listopada.

Oczywiście decyzja ta została już podjęta przez obywateli po obu stronach muru, który teraz mamy. Trump miał rację, gdy powiedział: "Zbuduję wielki mur, a nikt nie buduje murów lepiej ode mnie, wierzcie mi, i zbuduję je bardzo tanio. Zbuduję wielki, wspaniały mur".

Problem polega na tym, że zbudował mur między demokracją a demagogią. Połowa głosującego narodu nie widzi tego muru.
