Childrens Day

Sunday is a special day in Poland, Międzynarodowy Dzięn Dziecka, childrens day. It is a day of celebration of all the children celebrating children's day in Poland, especially for all the poor children. Children's Day is one of those holidays that all of the children will receive a small gift. Even the smallest and simplest of gifts like chocolate or candy is the biggest joy for any child.

We went for a long walk today and in the evening Zbyszek came over. We talked for a few hours and then he left, Joan prepared dinner and we watched "The Shining" movie on TV. Strangely enough it was in English with Polish subtitles. That doesn't happen very often so it was a nice change.

We've made up our mind to stay in this flat for another year, not buy a house yet and see what happens with the housing market. We'll contact our landlady on Monday and see about signing another lease. We've looked for a little bigger flat in Poznań but the prices are so high it wouldn't be worth the aggravation of moving now and then again in one year.


Niedziela jest specjalny dzień w Polsce, Międzynarodowy Dzięn Dziecka, childrens dniu. To jest dzień celebrowania wszystkich dzieci celebrujących dzień dzieci w Polsce, specjalnie dla wszystkich biednych dzieci. Dzień dzieci jest jeden z tych wakacji, które wszystkie z dzieci otrzymają skromny dar. Nawet najmniejszy i najprostszy darów lubią czekolada albo cukierek jest największa radość dla jakiegokolwiek dziecka.

Poszliśmy po długi spacer dzisiaj i wieczorem Zbyszek przybył. Powiedzieliśmy przez kilka godzin i wtedy on wyruszył, Joan przygotowała obiad i obserwowaliśmy" Świecący" film na telewizji. Rzecz dziwna to było po angielsku z polskimi podtytułami. Które nie zdarza się bardzo często tak to była miła zmiana.

Sporządzamy nasz umysł by pozostać w tym mieszkaniu od innego roku, nie kupić dom jeszcze i zobaczyć, że co zdarza się z lokującym rynkiem. Skontaktujemy naszą ziemiankę w poniedziałek i zajmiemy się podpisywaniem innej dzierżawy. Poszukaliśmy trochę większego mieszkania w Poznań ale ceny są tak wysokie to nie byłoby warte pogorszenia poruszenia od czasu do czasu znowu w jednym roku.
