Doctor Visit

We went to the doctors today and Joan has two more weeks using one crutch and then she will be able to walk again without them.

This is Students week in Poznań. It's a traditional week when the keys of the city are given to the students and many types of festivals are held for their celebration. Poznań is certainly a student city. Soon school will be over and there will be a definite decline in the number of students you see on the street each day. Polibuda Open-Air – 15-17 May – concerts, a parade and a barbecue feast of Poznań University of Technology studentsBarbecue at Adam Mickiewicz University – 14-15 May – a party for Adam Mickiewicz University students who have their classes on modern campus in Morasek. There will be drummers, capoeira dancers, breakdance performances and an exhibition of hand-made artistic jewellery.Medykalia Open Air – 16 May – a party for the students of Poznań University of Medical Sciences. The party will be accompanied by sports competition. The students will have a chance to play a tennis match with the vice-chancellor of the University.Artenalia – 15-18 May – a party for the students of the Academy of Fine Arts and the Academy of MusicArgonalia – 15 May – for the University of Life Sciences students – it is a new university known before as the Academy of Agriculture.The culmination of this year’s juwenalia will be students’ festival held on 29-31 May.

Medykalia Świeże Powietrze – 16 maja – partia {przyjęcie, strona} dla studentów Poznań Uniwersytetu Medycznych Nauk przyrodniczych. Partia będzie towarzyszona przez konkurencję sportów. Studenci będą mieć szansę by zagrać mecz tenisa z wicekanclerz Uniwersytetu.
Artenalia – 15-18 maja – partia dla studentów Akademii Sztuk Pięknych i Akademia Muzyki
Argonalia – 15 maja – dla Uniwersytetu studentów Nauk Przyrodniczych – to jest nowy uniwersytet znany przedtem jak Akademia Rolnictwa.
Kulminacja tego roku juwenalia będzie święto studentów trzymało się maja 29-31.
