I'm tired of the lies of Donald J.Trump.

" I think we did a spectacular job", Trump said last Thursday. He said his government deserved top marks for its management of the Covid-19 crisis. Yet, there are over one million confirmed cases of Americans with the virus and who knows how many more because of not enough testing. Now he is downplaying the need for testing when every medical expert says more testing is needed. How can you believe Trump?

He needs to feed his ego when nobody, except his cronies like the Vice President, his supporters,  FoxNews, and members of the Republican party, will. Why else would he say, "Nobody's ever done a better job as President"? George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, FDR, John F. Kennedy. Nobody has ever?

He changes his mind daily. One day he is for testing, the next day he is downplaying the need for testing. His daily briefings on Covid-19 are more for promoting his re-election in November than about facts about the virus. He should watch Governor Cuomo of New York if he wants to see a REAL briefing of the virus. Now, there is a man who should have been a candidate for President.

His ego is not confined to just him. His son-in-law, Jared Kushner, who is in charge of the Covid-19 with NO experience, was angry that the administration was not being recognized for its achievements. Last Wednesday he said, "This is a great success story". Over one million cases, 63,000 DEAD. A great success story? I think NOT!

He is a master as not taking responsibility for anything yet praising himself for everything he makes up. He still continues to blame China for Covid-19, saying that he has "seen: proof they created it in a laboratory in Wuhan. However, he does not show the proof...but he has "seen" it. It may be enough for his followers to believe his theory, but given how often if lies, I don't believe it.

The ONLY success story is how his consistent lies have captured 43% of the American people who keep supporting him. It is a phenomenon that is very hard to understand in most cases. It must have been like that in the Civil War when brother fought brother and fathers fought against sons. I never thought that in my lifetime I would witness a rebirth of that but here we are today. Covid-19 is the reason but there are underlying reasons also. Whether or not it will change and get better is up to the voters in November.

One thing is for sure, it is reprehensible to heap praise upon himself when over 63,00 Americans are dead because of his lack of an earlier response to the virus and then to say, " I think we’ve done a great job".

Dlaczego miałby powiedzieć: "Nikt nigdy nie wykonał lepszej pracy jako prezydent"? George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, FDR, John F. Kennedy. Nikt nigdy niczego nie zrobił?

Codziennie zmienia zdanie. Jednego dnia jest za testami, następnego dnia bagatelizuje potrzebę testów. Jego codzienne konferencje prasowe na temat Covida-19 są bardziej dla promocji jego reelekcji w listopadzie niż o faktach na temat wirusa. Powinien obserwować gubernatora Cuomo z Nowego Jorku, jeśli chce zobaczyć prawdziwą konferencję na temat wirusa. To jest człowiek, który powinien być kandydatem na prezydenta.

Ego Trumpa nie ogranicza się tylko do niego. Jego zięć, Jared Kushner, który odpowiada za Covid-19 bez żadnego doświadczenia w tym zakresie był zły, że administracja nie została doceniona za swoje osiągnięcia. W zeszłą środę powiedział: "To jest wielki sukces". Ponad milion przypadków, 63,000 zmarłych. Wielka historia sukcesu? Chyba nie!

• Jedyna historia sukcesu jest taka, jak jego konsekwentne kłamstwa "schwytały" 43% Amerykanów, którzy wciąż go wspierają. Jest to zjawisko, które w większości przypadków jest bardzo trudne do zrozumienia. Tak musiało być podczas wojny domowej, gdy brat walczył z bratem, a ojcowie z synami. Nigdy w życiu nie sądziłem, że będę świadkiem odrodzenia się tego zjawiska, ale dzisiaj jesteśmy. Covid-19 jest powodem, ale są też inne powody leżące u podstaw tego zjawiska. To, czy to się zmieni, czy nie, zależy od wyborców w listopadzie.


Jedno jest pewne, nagannym jest chwalić samego siebie, gdy ponad 63.000 Amerykanów nie żyje z powodu braku wcześniejszej reakcji na wirusa, a następnie powiedzieć: "Myślę, że wykonaliśmy świetną robotę".
