A pedestrian and bicycle footbridge in Owi艅ska is scheduled to open soon.
In Pozna艅, we're waiting for the construction of footbridges over the Warta River to connect Berdychowo, Ostr贸w Tumski, and Chwaliszewo, but in the meantime, Owi艅ska will soon be able to use the newest pedestrian and bicycle footbridge to be built over the Warta. There is no official opening date yet, but it is known that it is expected to take place in the coming weeks.
The footbridge is 130 meters long and almost 4 meters wide. It floats 10 meters above the water table. But the investment is not only a footbridge. Viewing terraces have been created on it. The highest one is 25 meters above the ground.
