Carrefour trip.

Today we had to go to Carrefour for water, hand soap, batteries and a new spatula. While we were there Joan looked through some items on sale, 60% off, and found a new hat she liked so she bought it. She only had one black hat and thought it was time to get another one in a different style. Of course we passed by the kielbasa section but I was good and didn't buy any. I think after devouring the cheesecake I had better go back to the bland diet again.

It was a brighter gray outside today. I know the sun is behind this continuous cloud and someday it will be seen again, maybe in March :-)

Saw the news last night that the Democrats have lost the majority in the Senate and it could give President Obama a lot of new problems to deal with. Here in Poland, the news is that the prime minister, Donald Tusk, who was the front runner for the next presidency is deciding not to run but instead remain the prime minister. A lot has been done in the last few years to reduce the power of the presidency and so staying as prime minister would keep his power in tact.

Dzisiaj mieliśmy iść do Carrefour wody, mydła, baterie i nowe szpatułki. Chociaż byliśmy tam Joan przejrzałem kilka przedmiotów na sprzedaż, 60% i znalazł nowy kapelusz lubiła więc kupiła go. Ona ma tylko jeden czarny kapelusz i myśli, że nadszedł czas, aby uzyskać kolejny w innym stylu. Oczywiście, że przekazywane przez punkt kiełbasy, ale była dobra i nie kupować żadnych. Myślę, że po pożerający sernik miałem lepiej wrócić do bland diety ponownie.

To był jaśniejszy szary współczesne. Wiem, że słońce jest za to ciągłe chmury i pewnego dnia okaże się, jeszcze raz, może marcu :-)

Saw nowości ostatniej nocy, że Demokraci stracili większość w Senacie i może dać prezydent Obama wiele nowych problemów do rozwiązania. Tutaj w Polska, wiadomością jest to, że premier Donald Tusk, który przoduje na kolejne przewodnictwo nie decydując się uciekać, ale zamiast pozostać premierem. Dużo zostało zrobione w ostatnich latach do obniżenia siły przewodnictwo i tak przebywa jako premier utrzyma swoją siłę w takt.
