A MARINE and a FREEDOM FIGHTER . We will not forget you....U.S. Marine veteran Ethan Hertweck was just 21 years old when he gave his life for freedom. Driven by a deep calling to protect the innocent, he traveled from the U.S. to Ukraine, serving as a combat medic with the 59th Brigade on the front lines. During his final mission in the Donetsk region, Ethan saw a teammate fall under heavy Russian fire. Without hesitation, he ran into the kill zone to save him. Even after being struck himself, Ethan managed to drag his wounded friend to cover and continued providing medical aid until his very last moments. He died a hero, doing what he loved most – helping others.

On October 12, Ukraine lost Valeriia Stepanova, callsign “Demon,” a Ukrainian soldier, FPV drone pilot, and mother. She was killed by a Russian drone while carrying out a combat mission. Her children have lost their mother. Ukraine has lost a brave defender. We will remember her courage, her service, and her willingness to speak the truth.
