Town Hall

Thanks to YouTube, we were able to watch the segments of the CNN Climate Change Town Hall. For me, Waren was the best. For Joan, it was Biden. My problem with Biden are his solution dates for the final changes, 2050. I think that they will be too late, Warren's are sooner, 2028, 2030 and 2035. I also think that now it is mainly a race between 3 candidates, Warren, Biden, and Sanders.  Sanders still carries the label of "Socialist" and that will harm him still as it did in 2016. Warren is a woman and for those egocentric men, it would be hard to vote for her. Biden is conservative so for the progressive voter he would not be their choice. All 3 have some baggage that they carry. When it is time for the election and the Democratic candidate has been chosen, it will be time to vote for him or her no matter who is chosen. If not, it's 4 more years of Orange Head. The Planet will not survive it.

It was a food shopping day. After spending the morning watching the candidates talk about their ideas on climate change solutions, we left the house at 12:30. As usual for a Thursday, the supermarket was not crowded and we were finished in 45 minutes. This week the cost was 143 PLN($36).

Another nice day of 23C(73.4F), partly sunny and no rain. After the shopping was done and the food was put away, we went for a walk around the neighborhood just to be outside and get some exercise. School was just letting out so there were many children walking home.  Most of them passing by were speaking Polish but sometimes you could hear the older ones trying English as they walked by.

The dining room where I sit behind this laptop is a mess. The table is covered with documents of Joan's permit, my driver's license application, medical exam and documents for Civil Registry. In front of the window sits the drying rack with the latest washing of clothes slowly drying. I should really do something about it.

Dzięki YouTube mogliśmy oglądać segmenty CNN Climate Change Town Hall. Dla mnie Waren był najlepszy. Dla Joan był to Biden. Mój problem z Bidenem to są daty jego ostatecznych rozwiązań w sprawie zmian klimatu na 2050. Myślę, że to za późno, Warren określa je na wcześniejsze: 2028, 2030 i 2035. Myślę też, że teraz jest to głównie wyścig pomiędzy 3 kandydatami: Warren, Biden i Sanders. Sanders nadal nosi etykietę „Socjalista”, a to go zniszczy, tak jak to miało miejsce w 2016 roku. Warren jest kobietą i dla tych mężczyzn zorientowanych na ego trudno będzie na nią głosować. Biden jest konserwatywny, więc dla postępowego wyborcy nie będzie ich wyborem. Wszyscy trzej dźwigają swój bagaż. Kiedy nadejdzie czas wyborów i wybrany zostanie kandydat Demokratów, będzie to czas, aby zagłosować na niego bez względu na to, kto zostanie wybrany. Jeśli nie, to będą jeszcze 4 lata z Orange Head. Planeta nie przetrwa.

Dziś był dzień zakupu żywności. Po poranku spędzonym na obserwowaniu kandydatów rozmawiających o swoich pomysłach na rozwiązania dotyczące zmian klimatu, wyszliśmy z domu o 12:30. Jak zwykle w czwartek, supermarket nie był zatłoczony i skończyliśmy zakupy w 45 minut. W tym tygodniu koszt wyniósł 143 PLN (36 USD).

Kolejny miły dzień z 23°C (73,4 F), częściowo słonecznie i bez deszczu. Po zakończeniu zakupów i odniesieniu produktów ,poszliśmy na spacer po okolicy, żeby być na zewnątrz i poćwiczyć. Wiele dzieci opuszczało szkołę i szło do domu. Większość przechodzących mówiła po polsku, ale czasem można było usłyszeć przechodzące starsze dzieci i próbujące mówić po angielsku.

W jadalni, w której siedzę przy laptopie jest bałagan. Stół jest pokryty dokumentami dotyczącymi zezwolenia na pobyt Joan, wnioskiem o wydanie mojego prawa jazdy, badaniem lekarskim i dokumentami do urzędu stanu cywilnego. Naprzeciwko okna stoi suszarka, na której powoli suszy się ostatnie pranie. Naprawdę powinienem coś z tym zrobić.
