On Friday were tests of the new tram tracks on Saint Martin's Street, today on Fredry and Miel偶y艅skiego Streets, and tomorrow there will be regular courses. Starting today you will be able to travel by streetcar on these routes in the city center. That's a good improvement in Poznan.
The indictment of Donal Trump yesterday came as no surprise. However, the 37 charges against him are still not enough to keep him from becoming the Republican candidate for the Presidency in 2024. It was a cooler day today so I did take Joan out for a little while and since we were close, we stopped at Sowas for coffee and cake. I have managed to cut our trips there to once or twice a week. It is just too expensive now.
We took a trip, via YouTube, on the Transcanadion Railway from Toronto to Vancouver. It only took 1 1/2 hours. In reality, the trip takes 4 days and is something we will never do. The cost of such a trip for 1 person is between $8,000-10,000. Naturally, the train did not have many passengers. Who could afford it?
The scenery was beautiful, especially at the end when the train reached the Canadian Rockies. Impressive they were. However, the Rockies in Colorado are much taller and we have been to them years ago.
