The largest castle in Europe is in Poland. It's a series of 3 castles built within a surrounding wall and moat. It's more like a fortress protecting 3 palaces. Joan and I have visited it twice and would like to see it again, but Joan's condition prevents it.

The stunning Malbork Castle dates back to Poland’s medieval history and harkens back to when it served as the fortress for one of Poland’s largest armies and magasties. With absolutely stunning and breathtaking architecture, the castle amazes visitors and historians with its spectacular medieval features and structure.

Its long and storied history includes sheltering Christian pilgrimages, serving as the residence of the Grand Masters of the Teutonic Order and the Polish subprefecture, and as one of the many royalty places of Polish kings. Its legacy continued as a protectorate barracks, becoming the birthplace of conservation in Prussia. Today, it is one of the most exciting tourist attractions in Poland.

You need about 3-4 hours to really explore it. when we were there, they were still working on restoring the church. I put a video tour of it on the left side of this blog.

After New York, Dubai, and Paris, a multisensory exhibition dedicated to the work of Vincent van Gogh will come to Poznan. The technology used will transport viewers into the world of the painter's imagination.

Hundreds of works will be displayed on large screens. The paintings will be vibrant with color, and the viewer will have the impression of being immersed in them," says Konrad Flesman of the Poznań fair, where the exhibition will be on display.

The exhibition is unique and multisensory, but the location is also unique. In pavilion number one in a space of more than two thousand square meters, the said exhibition will take place. To achieve this multisensory effect, this preparation will take quite a long time. There has never been an exhibition in this form before. There was an exhibition of paintings in 3D, but not yet in multimedia form

- says Konrad Flesman.

A week before the opening of the exhibition, the installation of the screens will begin. They will not be hung in a single line to further increase the impression of depth.

The exhibition will be on display from mid-September until almost the end of January next year. Pavilion #1 is located in the open to the public part of the exhibition group.

Oszałamiający zamek w Malborku pochodzi z okresu średniowiecznej historii Polski i przypomina czasy, gdy służył jako twierdza dla jednej z największych polskich armii i magnatów. Dzięki absolutnie oszałamiającej i zapierającej dech w piersiach architekturze, zamek zadziwia odwiedzających i historyków swoimi spektakularnymi średniowiecznymi cechami i strukturą. 

Jego długa i bogata historia obejmuje schronienie chrześcijańskich pielgrzymek, służąc jako rezydencja Wielkich Mistrzów Zakonu Krzyżackiego i polskiej podprefektury, a także jako jedno z wielu miejsc królewskich polskich królów. Jego dziedzictwo było kontynuowane jako koszary , stając się miejscem narodzin ochrony zabytków w Prusach. Dziś jest to jedna z najbardziej ekscytujących atrakcji turystycznych w Polsce.

Potrzeba około 3-4 godzin, aby naprawdę go zwiedzić. Kiedy tam byliśmy, nadal pracowali nad przywróceniem świetnosci budynku kościoła. Setki prac będą wyświetlane na dużych ekranach. Obrazy będą tętniły kolorem, a widz będzie miał wrażenie zanurzenia się w nich" - mówi Konrad Flesman z Targów Poznańskich, na których będzie można oglądać wystawę. 

Wystawa jest wyjątkowa, wielozmysłowa, ale wyjątkowa jest też jej lokalizacja. W pawilonie numer jeden na przestrzeni ponad dwóch tysięcy metrów kwadratowych odbędzie się wspomniana wystawa. Aby osiągnąć ten wielozmysłowy efekt, przygotowania potrwają dość długo. Nigdy wcześniej nie było wystawy w takiej formie. Była wystawa malarstwa w 3D, ale w formie multimedialnej jeszcze nie - mówi Konrad Flesman. 

Tydzień przed otwarciem wystawy rozpocznie się montaż ekranów. Nie będą one powieszone w jednej linii, aby jeszcze bardziej spotęgować wrażenie głębi. 

Wystawę będzie można oglądać od połowy września do niemal końca stycznia przyszłego roku. Pawilon pierwszy znajduje się w otwartej dla publiczności części terenów wystawowych.
