In Poznań, they celebrated Ukraine's Independence Day
Several hundred people walked through the streets of Poznań on Thursday, in a march on the occasion of Ukraine's Independence Day.
The march on the occasion of Ukraine's Independence Day began at Adam Mickiewicz Square. It passed through the main streets of Poznań and ended in a park in the old Warta riverbed, where a picnic was held. Many of the people who took part in the march were Ukrainians who had to flee the country before the war. As they said, on such a day they would prefer to celebrate in their hometowns. You may have heard of the novel “The Peasants”, for which Władysław Reymont was awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1924. Władysław Reymont grew up in the countryside and later in his adult life spent several years in the village of Lipce, where the novel “The Peasants” takes place.

W Poznaniu świętowano Dzień Niepodległości Ukrainy

Kilkaset osób przeszło w czwartek ulicami Poznania w marszu z okazji Dnia Niepodległości Ukrainy.
Marsz z okazji Dnia Niepodległości Ukrainy rozpoczął się na placu Adama Mickiewicza. Przeszedł głównymi ulicami Poznania i zakończył się w parku w starym korycie Warty, gdzie odbył się piknik. Wiele osób, które wzięły udział w marszu, to Ukraińcy, którzy przed wojną musieli uciekać z kraju. Jak mówili, w takim dniu woleliby świętować w swoich rodzinnych miastach. Niestety, rosyjski agresor im to uniemożliwia. Podczas przemówień przed marszem nie zabrakło słów podziękowań dla Polaków, którzy pomagali i nadal pomagają uchodźcom wojennym. Źródło-wpoznaniu.pl

Być może słyszałeś o powieści "Chłopi", za którą Władysław Reymont otrzymał Nagrodę Nobla w dziedzinie literatury w 1924 roku. Władysław Reymont wychował się na wsi, a później w dorosłym życiu spędził kilka lat we wsi Lipce, gdzie rozgrywa się akcja powieści "Chłopi".
