Dinner, Z and sunset.

We met our friends from England last night in the outside cafe of the Belvue restaurant in the rynek. That is the new name of the restaurant that has replace Dom Vikingow. Fortunately our meeting was not until 7PM and by that time is was not so hot and the sky was grayed with clouds that would give off some rain after we were finished. It was a meeting for dinner and I am sorry to say I was not impressed with the meal I had. I ordered salmon and it was overcooked and tasted very dry. Joan had pork ribs and she said they were just OK, not something she would order again. The coffee was good and the desert but the meal itself I would not recommend. One bright spot was our waitress. She looked like she was 16 with the complexion of a baby and very big, bright eyes. She spoke English well and was always smiling, a rarity in customer service here. Our English friends both thought their dinners were good so maybe we just ordered the wrong things to eat. Joan wore a nice blue dress for the dinner and it is always a thrill for me to see her in a dress.

Last week the Sioux restaurant closed and already this weekend there is a new one in it's place. Things happen quickly in the food service business.

Today Z finally returned from his seaside vacation and we met him at Kandulski's to listen to is adventure. He had a good time with his family and grandsons and we had a nice visit.

Spotkaliśmy naszych przyjaciół z Anglii w nocy na zewnątrz kawiarni restauracji Belvue w rynek. To jest nowa nazwa restauracji, która ma zastąpić Domu Vikingów. Na szczęście nasze spotkanie nie było aż do 7PM i do tego czasu nie było tak gorąco i niebo było nieaktywne z chmur, które wydzielają deszczu po tym, jak się skończyło. Było to spotkanie na obiad i Przykro mi powiedzieć, że nie był zachwycony posiłku miałem. Kazałem łososia i było rozgotowane i smak bardzo suchej. Joan miała żeberka, a ona stwierdziła, że jest po prostu OK, nie jest czymś tak ona ponownie. Kawa była dobra i na pustyni, ale sam posiłek I nie polecam. Jednym jasnym punktem była nasza kelnerka. Wyglądała jak miała 16 z cera z dzieckiem i bardzo duża, oczy jasne. Mówiła dobrze po angielsku i zawsze uśmiechnięta, rzadkość w obsłudze klientów tutaj. Zarówno naszych angielskich przyjaciół, że ich obiady były dobre, więc może po prostu zamówić złe rzeczy do jedzenia. Joanna ubrana w niebieski strój nice na kolację i zawsze jest dreszczyk emocji dla mnie, aby zobaczyć ją w sukience.

W zeszłym tygodniu w restauracji Sioux zamknięty i już w ten weekend nie jest nowa w to miejsce. Rzeczy dzieją się szybko w branży gastronomicznej.

Z dzisiaj wreszcie powrócił z wakacji nad morzem i spotkaliśmy go w Kandulski do słuchania jest przygoda. Był dobry czas z rodziną i wnuków i mieliśmy miłe wizyty.
