Last Dubrovnik day

Well, again I say that the pictures aren't enough to describe this place.  Even from he top of the hill overlooking Dubrovnik, the scenery is just too beautiful to behold.

We started our day with breakfast at the old wall then took the cable car to the top of the hill overlook.  On the top is an old fortress from the days of Napoleon and. of course, a restaurant where you can have coffee and look at the beautiful views that surround the whole hill.  We did just that and then walked  degrees around the take in all the views and pictures. The cable car ride back down is fast and we spent the rest of thee evening in the old city.

We ate at Rhea Silvia, a nice restaurant with not so high prices but excellent food.  I had Dubrovnik style chicken with mushroom sauce and rice and Joan had pasta.  Our waiter, Misu, was very interesting because he was a head waiter for a cruise ship line for many years and had visited some  countries. We drank a bottle of Ivandolac wine he recommended and it was excellent.
