New idea.

Joan is trying something different with the Zucchini soup recipe this week. She is making it like she normally does but when it is finished she will put it into the refrigerator and let it get cold. We want to see if it will taste as good cold as it does when it is hot. If it it does we will have another cold soup for summer along with chłodnik and gazpacho. I will let you know the results.

We did our normal shopping for the week, cost 105 PLN.

Our friend, Stash, came to visit today and he was the first one to try our new entrance system to the building. He called to us and we let him in although he said it was not necessary because both doors still were not locked. It is strange to have a security system where the doors can be freely opened. Maybe the installer forgot to do that part. This will have to be brought to the attention of the building administration.

I have made my plan of surprise for Joan's birthday. I thought of it this morning and set it in motion. I will not be writing a blog this coming Saturday, her birthday, but will tell you about it on Sunday with pictures.

 W tym tygodniu Joan wypróbuje inny przepis na zupę z cukinii. Robi to tak, jak zwykle, ale kiedy się ugotuje włoży ją do lodówki, żeby się schłodziła. Chcemy sprawdzić, czy będzie smakować tak samo dobrze na zimno, jak na ciepło. Jeśli tak, będziemy mieli kolejną zimną zupę na lato wraz z chłodnikiem i gazpacho. Powiadomię cię o rezultacie.

Zrobiliśmy normalne zakupy na tydzień, kosztowały 105 PLN.

Dzisiaj odwiedził nas nasz przyjaciel Stash i był pierwszym, który wypróbował nowy system wejścia do budynku. Zadzwonił do nas, a my wpuściliśmy go, chociaż powiedział, że to nie było konieczne, ponieważ drzwi nadal nie były zamknięte. Dziwnie jest mieć system bezpieczeństwa, w którym drzwi mogą być bez przeszkód otwarte. Może instalator zapomniał zrobić tą część. Będzie to musiało zostać przedstawione administracji budynku.

Zrobiłem mój plan zaskoczenia Joan w dniu jej  urodzin. Myślałem o tym dziś rano i nadałem temu bieg. Nie będę pisać bloga w najbliższą sobotę, w dniu jej urodzin, ale opowiem o tym w niedzielę dodając zdjęcia.

 Joan está probando algo diferente con la receta de sopa de calabacín esta semana. Ella lo está haciendo para que no lo entienda. Queremos ver si hace calor. Si hace frío y gaspacho. Le dejaré saber los resultados.
Hicimos nuestras compras normales durante la semana, cuesta PLN 105.
