Small altar.
It was a dark, gray day earlier but warmer, 21C(70F) so we took a walk. Miraculously the sun came out, clouds went away and it was a nice afternoon. Across from our flat a small altar was set up for the procession that will happen later today.
During our walk we came across this interesting flower growing in a yard so I took a picture of it.
As we walked we could hear the church bells and choir from the neighboring church in Podolany so we decided to walk there and got there in time to see the end of their procession.
The weather is suppose to be warm this weekend, without rain, so we hope to be able to make our first visit to the botanical garden either Saturday or Sunday. I hope they are right, southern Poland needs relief from the rain and floods and maybe the river levels will start to decline and people can return to their homes. It has been a difficult time for those displaced because of the flooding.

Idąc słychać dzwony i chór z sąsiedniego kościoła w Podolany więc postanowiliśmy iść tam i tam w czasie, aby zobaczyć koniec ich pochód.

Here is an interesting entry on Corpus Christi (Boze Cialo you're writing about :)), its history and spirituals meaning written from a „doubtful” perspective. Certainly worth checking out: http://dstp.cba.pl/?p=1939
The flowering vine you found looks like a clematis. We have them all over the midwest US, too.
