Since my last posting about the March on Washinton, I have received 3 messages saying my blog is now too political, that I have no right to voice my opinions about 2 different governments, that I live in one country but criticize the one I came from, that I'm a hypocrite, a user, and that as a result, they will no longer read my blog. I agree that I am writing too much political material lately but it is difficult to hold back when so many things anger me. 2 of those who wrote have only written once or twice before in 12 years and those were also criticisms so I don't feel any great loss there.

On the bright side, it was shopping day today, delayed from yesterday because of the holiday. we spent 149 PLN($38). Tonight Joan is preparing creamy pasta salad for dinner.

I passed 2 more of the driver's tests with scores of 30 and 31. I have a doctor's appointment next Wednesday at 10:00 for my "official" medical exam. Once I have it I can schedule a date to take the test.

Zdałem jeszcze 2 testy kierowców z wynikiem 30 i 31.

  1. I agree that your blog has gotten more political. However, you have the right to criticize BECAUSE you live in a different country and can see clearly what the situation is here. We lived in South Africa briefly in the early 1970s (during apartheid)and could easily understand the reasons for apartheid. There is a saying that goes something like - Don't criticize me until you walk a mile in my shoes. I'm glad we don't travel overseas any more - I used to get tired of defending the US and that was long before our present government. Keep your blog coming - I thoroughly enjoy your travels and more. Good luck with your driving test. Na zdrowie!
