Polish Origins.

What I hope will be the last translated document for the Polish Civil Registry is done. Now I need to make an appointment to take it in. I would pray it is finally accepted but I don't want to waste God's time. I'm sure he has his hands full with Covid-19.

I received a message from an acquaintance who owns a family research business, Polish Origins.. He and his family recently moved to the Beskid Niski region of Poland in the south-east. He has many clients and this year he has received many questions from people asking about moving to Poland.

In the last few months, he has been receiving more and more requests from people from the US who want to apply for Polish citizenship. They ask about it for different reasons. They want to have an option to live outside of the US. Some of them are afraid of the dictatorship of the current president, others are fed up with the social unrest, safety (or rather lack of it), and polarization of society.

 He was thinking about sharing with his readers our experience by writing in his newsletter and social media about our blog. They could learn from it about practical steps they could take based on our experience. Also, they could learn about the realities of living in Poland.

He said that maybe I would like to write something dedicated to such people who are thinking about taking such a big step in their lives. About our experience of the moving process at the beginning, formal issues (like if the Polish citizenship is necessary to settle in Poland), our everyday life, and overall impression of living in Poland for so long already.

I will do it to help him. It would be great if I could pick out only the blogs operating to moving, problems and solutions, and Polish citizenship but I have written 4,666 blogs since the first one 13 years ago. Most of my time is absorbed by caring for Joan and I can't do that. I don't know if his clients will take the time to search through every blog for what they want to know? Probably not.

 

Mam nadzieję, że będzie to ostatni przetłumaczony dokument dla polskiego rejestru cywilnego. Teraz muszę umówić się na spotkanie, żeby to przyjąć. Modliłbym się, żeby to zostało ostatecznie przyjęte, ale nie chcę tracić czasu Boga. Jestem pewien, że ma pełne ręce roboty z Covid-19.

Otrzymałem wiadomość od znajomego, który jest właścicielem rodzinnej firmy badawczej,Orígenes polacos . Niektórzy z nich boją się dyktatury obecnego prezydenta, inni mają dość niepokojów społecznych, bezpieczeństwa (a raczej jego braku) i polaryzacji społeczeństwa.

 Myślał o podzieleniu się z czytelnikami naszym doświadczeniem, pisząc w swoim biuletynie i mediach społecznościowych o naszym blogu. Mogli nauczyć się z niego praktycznych kroków, jakie mogliby podjąć w oparciu o nasze doświadczenie. Mogli też poznać realia życia w Polsce.

Powiedział, że może chciałbym napisać coś dedykowanego takim osobom, które myślą o zrobieniu tak dużego kroku w swoim życiu. O naszym początkowym doświadczeniu przeprowadzki, kwestiach formalnych (np. Czy obywatelstwo polskie jest niezbędne do osiedlenia się w Polsce), naszej codzienności i ogólnym wrażeniu z życia w Polsce już tak długo.

Zrobię to, żeby mu pomóc. Byłoby wspaniale, gdybym mógł wybrać tylko blogi działające na rzecz ruchu, problemów i rozwiązań oraz obywatelstwa polskiego, ale od pierwszego 13 lat temu pisałem 4666 blogów.
