Vodka.

Last night we watched a very interesting movie with Sean Penn and Mel Gibson, The Professor and the Madman. It's a story of how the Oxford English dictionary was created. It took 78 years to create it. Sean Penn did a superb job acting the madman's part. It was entertaining and educational for us who never wondered about how the dictionary was made.

Our friend, Andrzej, came by today and brought a nice surprise. A bottle of home-made vodka using his grandmother's recipe. It consists of spyritus (pure alcohol), eggs. sugar, and a few other ingredients. It stays in the refrigerator, then taken out 10-15 minutes before drinking. It's very tasty. It's called Iron Vodka.

The weather is a little cooler today but with the sun shining it was still a good day for a walk. 

I checked on our voting ballots and the message said we were sent them on September 11 via email. It showed our applications were accepted. We didn't get them so I sent a message informing the office about that. Now I am waiting for a reply. We are NOT going to miss voting.

Pogoda jest dziś trochę chłodniejsza, ale przy świecącym słońcu „wciąż był dobry dzień na spacer.
