We went to the car registration office today and were greeted by a rude agent of the government office. He said no one spoke English and we were not happy with him because he seemed mad that we did not speak polish. It took 3 hours to complete the task. Eventually we had our temporary permits, to be renewed in two weeks.
Poszliśmy do urzędu rejestracji samochodu dzisiaj i byliśmy witani przez niegrzecznego agenta urzędu państwowego. On powiedział, że nikt nie mówi po angielsku i nie byliśmy szczęśliwi z nim ponieważ on wydał się szalonym, że nie powiedzieliśmy blasku. To zajęło 3 godziny by uzupełnić zadanie. Ostatecznie mieliśmy nasze tymczasowe pozwolenia, by być wznowieni w dwu tygodniach.

ReplyDeletesome folks in gov office shouldn't really work over there. When you browse their career offers, at least advanced english is expected from te potential candidate. When you eventually step by, nobody is able to help you. I'll suggest to write an official letter to their manager and describe what happened (in english of course) They have 14 days to write you back. Give them some work:)
