Nothing really new with us. We've stayed at home the last two days and did very little.

I did read that Poznan is the leading academic centre in Poland. Since 1990 the
number of students deciding to study in Poznan universities has quadrupled. In terms of the number of students per 1,000 inhabitants, Poznan (254) occupies the first place among the largest cities in Poland, ahead of Kraków (245)and Wrocław (229).
At present, there are more than 140,000 students in Poznan. That's excellent for the economy of Poznań.

Nov, 11th is appraoching and the celebration. There is probably no other town
in the world which celebrates the name day of its... main street. For 18 years now, in Poznan, on St. Martin’s name day – the 11th of November – a colourful pageant walks through the centre of the town along Saint Martin’s Street, and a name day festival is held in front of the castle. To make the tradition truly appropriate, charity money is raised on the day, and the towns folk stuff themselves on the
delicious “Martin’s croissants”. It starts at 2:45PM and, if at all possible, Joan and I will go.

The weather continues to be the same, gray, cloudy and rainy.

Nic naprawdę nowy z nami. Wytrzymaliśmy w domu poprzednie dwa dni i zrobiliśmy bardzo mało.

Przeczytałem, że Poznań jest wiodący akademicki środek w Polsce. Od 1990
liczba studentów decydujących studiować w Poznaniu uniwersytety pomnożyły przez cztery. Jeżeli chodzi o liczbę studentów przez 1,000 mieszkańców, Poznań (254) zajmie miejsce Àörst pośród największych miast w Polsce, na przodzie Krakowa (245)i Wrocław (229).
Obecnie, tam są więcej niż 140,000 studentów w Poznaniu. To jest doskonałe dla ekonomii Poznań.

Listopad, 11. nadchodzi i celebrowanie. Nie ma prawdopodobnie żaden innego miasta
w świecie, który celebruje termin rozliczeniowy jego... głównej ulicy. Na 18 lat teraz, w Poznaniu, na św. Martina termin rozliczeniowy – 11. listopada – barwne widowisko chodzi przez środek miejskiej naprzód swiętej Martina Ulicy, i festiwal terminu rozliczeniowego jest trzymane przed zamkiem. By zrobić tradycję naprawdę odpowiednią, pieniądze miłosierdzia są podniesiony w dniu, i rzeczy ludu miast sam na
wybornego “Martina croissants”. To zaczyna się o 2:45PM i, jeżeli w ogóle możliwy, Joan i ja pójdę.

Pogoda nadal jest to samo, szarość, pochmurna i deszczowa.
