We had to go to the bank today and were amazed by the model of a new type of home for building in Poland. I didn't have my camera, so no pictures, but I'll go back tomorrow and take some. It's like a Mies van der Rohe house with glass all around and I wonder how it is heated economically. It's got a solar panel on top with a small wind generator. It's interesting to see something this modern sitting in Plac Wolnośći. I've always loved architecture, Frank Lloyd Wright being my favorite. When we lived in the U.S. we drove to different times to Pennsylvania just to see his house called "Falling Water".
Musieliśmy pójść do banku dziś i dziwili się wzorem nowego typu domowego do zabudowy Polska. Nie miałem aparatu, więc nie ma zdjęcia, ale wrócę jutro i trochę. To jak Mies van der Rohe domu całym ze szkła i zastanawiam się jak to jest ogrzewany ekonomicznie. It's got kolektorów słonecznych na górze z małym generator wiatru. To ciekawe, aby zobaczyć ten nowoczesny coś siedzi w Plac Wolności. Zawsze uwielbiałem architektury, Frank Lloyd Wright jest moim ulubionym. Kiedy mieszkaliśmy w USA pojechaliśmy do różnych okresach do Pensylwanii, by zobaczyć jego domu o nazwie "Falling Water".
If it is truly green it must have geothermal heating which gives constant 68f/20c degrees. The solar cells are for running the pump to circulate the water in the geothermal heat pump. The windmill is for the stove and maybe the hot water heater, and maybe lighting.
ReplyDeleteAssuming the solar is for circulating the water, with as many gray weeks without sun that we have in winter it may be a problem.
