Construction is underway to put a beltway around Poznań that will hopefully ease the traffic congestion in the city during the day. Who knows how long it will take them to complete it. With Euro2012 being held in Poznań that's probably the year of completion. As I mentioned before, there is a lot of road work going on in Poland in preperation for games. Sting will perform at the opening ceremony of the renovated soccer stadium on the 20th of this month. He is a big soccer fan.

Joan made the excellent cheescake today and for dinner the flacki type soup, only replacing the tripe with chicken. Next to Żurek it's one of our favorite soups. Wednesday is our weekly meeting for coffee with Z. Looking forward to that.
